I changed the concept of the video a little this time, how do you like it?
From this time on, we are going to make a video with the concept of an emergency room!
I swapped Jordan's sole which was hit by the bomb of time 🤯💣🧨
It's been a long time since I've done a lot of Jordan 4 hydrolysis.
Finding shoes that need a sole swap is the most difficult, but
In Vetiver, other color soles of relatively inexpensive models can also be sole swapped through dyeing!
Thank you for always enjoying the video.
If you have a good idea after watching the video, feel free to
Please leave a comment :-)
We'll be back with more fun videos!

Ironically the only way to prevent the solte from crumbling is to wear the shoes regularly
🤯🤯🤯
Cus meeping it in the box, will only make the shoe rot
It's why i stopped buying retros, i'm good with some 1s and 11s. What's the point of having expensive sneakers that you don't use regularly cuz it's not that comfy and rots in a while😩 unless they change the midsole to something that looks the same but doesn't crumble then many would go collecting again
Yeap
@@nassiglutt6587 retros are built with different products now they won’t crumble. You’re good. It’s the older ones that would do this due to lack of wearing.
aaaaand they're back to the box as soon as the customer gets their Jordans back
So!
best asmr video this year so far - thank you
Amazing work as always! The mini incense kit is adorable and I must find it.
Phenomenal restoration.
We want more of the E.R. series. 😁
Asmr and shoe restoration? What a perfect combo, love it!
The magician is back for 2023 :) I love these videos!
Nice job! Congratulations VVR 💪🏻🔥
charming, funny, intriguing content as always. i love to see it❤️❤️ keep up the good work, amazing job on the shoes:)
Great work as always
Not bad I just wish he reused the original bottom outsole for the shoe
Painstaking care and loving detail.
The Everyday Good Mood Incense made these come out so much better 🔥
nike needs to sell shoe parts like pc and car manufacturers do for example. Say your sole got ruined, you can buy a blank one and paint to the color you need. Now you need to sacrifice one for the other.
How in the world did you do this so perfectly!?!
Koreans got great hand skills and there were even shoe making town in Seoul. 😅
Impressionante. Excelente trabalho!
I follow forever Your work is very good❤❤
Wish u could kept the Nike air outsole (I know it’s a bit more work) but these look great
Good work bro nice job 👍 keep doing what u doing 💯
I wish i could have this much patience for anything in my life
@@emanuelashosha thank you armchair philosopher
Belo trabalho irmão! 🇧🇷❤
Now this is more like it!
That’s the way the cookie crumbles. 🤷🏻♂️ LITERALLY! 😜
If it is possible, put the subtitles of process again, as You used to do before. Amazing job and video. Congrats
you had some issues with aligning sole to the upper, jordan changes the siluethe between evert retro so slightly that you need to do adjustments to make the newer retro donor sole fit perfectly to og vintage upper, but besides that really nice job, I've been following your videos for years now and I've seen a lot of progress
great job!
I really need to know what kind of glue is that and how to get it
arguably the greatest Jordan restoration on CZcams
How he didn't even use the OG outer soles he used a retro one with a jumpman
and that's the way the cookie crumbles
I got 5 pair of Nike AirMax with different color ways that need repainting on the sole. I cleaned the color off over time. But, I'm not throwing them out.
Why does Nike/Jordan change the type of foam on that midsoles ?
Amazing!
You a beast bro🎉
Air Jordan only has aj1 soles that will not decompose. Aj11 will not decompose either but the soles will fall off. However, if the soles fall off, they can be fixed with special adhesive.
what are you removing the glue with?
I have lots of Jordan 4s still in the box, need to start wearing them 😢 Amazing restoration man😎
What years are they from?....if they are newer your good .... different msterials
@@killtheradio2999 2012 onwards
@@DashDrones should be alright
@@killtheradio2999 I think it still depends on the area where the shoes are stored. New retros indeed last longer but the PU midsoles AJ3-6 are still very much vulnerable to temperature extremes and humidity. I live in the Philippines where it’s freaking hot and humid year-round, and my never-worn AJ6 UNC from 2018 is already starting to show some cracks and crumbling on the midsole, despite being in an airconditioned room. AJ1’s full-rubber sole and the phylon midsole on AJs 11 onwards are more resistant to crumbling so I focus on getting more of those instead.
i do have case like this for my couch shoe. It recently crumps its interior😭 for nine years I had it, yet I couldn't afford to repair it today. Need some saving funds to professionally restore it.
Oooo yessss, the Master VeTiVer strikes back, force is strong !!! 💪💪💪❤❤❤👍👍👍👌👌👌
Does anyone know where to get that Collins incense?
Yknow how to get rid of ashy and making soles that’s little hard to soft again?
What's the name of that glue? Many thanks
And what was your reason for not using the original outer soles?
@Vetiver How Much do You charge for this ? I got some 4s Needing To come back to life
It is recommended to update the video of repairing shoes in the future
My son has these actual Jordans but on one shoe the speckled grey part has come away can I fix it or will it keep coming away he has worn them once
if his are from 1989 he shouldn't wear them because they will fall apart as seen in the video and severely destroy the value. if the 2016 pair, yes they can be repaired. watch a few videos on it, it's relatively simple.
The off white aj1's when you keep them inside a glass box for 10 years 💀
Wear your shoes yall !!!
What he use at 12:20? Acetone?
I'm bouta do this too my blk canvas 4s n turn them into breds

I love it man,,, may i know if what type of paint suitable for repairing a white leather..any help appreciated man...tc
I used pigments non acryl, acryl based pigments will be broken on leather. so you have to use urethane based or other based pigments :)
The microphone’s sound is impeccable
amazing ideas bhru jajajaj nice
you have to wear them once in a while or the sole crumbles like these
Not bad. Seems like there was some interest in perserving the bit of sun than managed to bleach the uppers which gives them a bit of charm I think. Disappointing if they were restored to sit on display.
nice video ! any body know the liquid they used to remove the new out sole with heat gun ? thank you so much !
Acetone
Cool
Say Thanks for sneaker collectors knew nothing about chemistry, shoe doctors!
I wonder if you could make a mold out of the sole and make custom soles, though that would probably cost too much money.
Love this idea! It’s always a shame to see a pair of shoes ruined to donate the sole.
You definitely could but it would probably never get the exact same look or feel and on top of that they would never be worth as much as the original shoes with original soles, probably wouldn’t be too hard to sell if they looked and felt good though.
WRONG! Even this pair after the swap wouldn't have the same feel as the OG midsoles because the polyurethane that's being used with today's pairs is a lot stiffer. And the issue one would have trying to replicate the midsoles would be with the air units...But with time and patience, anything is possible....
Amazing transformation! I have to ask is this kind of thing worthwhile? I know nothing about these trainers but they looked totally wrecked. Also what happened to the original sole unit to cause it to disintegrate like that? Just curious.
The Jordan 4 released in 1989. There are people that still have those same sneakers because of their historical value and build quality. You can get re-releases of the same model today and a few other years between now and then but with every release the quality has crept downward in quality. Foam will disintegrate if it isn't exposed to air (like being stored wrapped in plastic in a box like some collectors do)
@@Lord_Mad_Dog think these are the 1999 retro though. Still worth a lot of cash restored like this 😎
@@Lord_Mad_Dog thank you for the info. It’s interesting to know 👍🏻
@@DashDrones thank you. I guess anything is collectible and valuable to someone.
@@dinalou8827 yep, people like to have the cool things that were tough to get growing up..
Imagine paying that much money for shoes just to not wear them bc they will end up looking like this.
Ofc I also got shoes I really like and don't want them to wear down but if its that expensive it needs a much better quality and durability than 30$ shoes.
this doesnt happen nearly as fast as it did with 2010 and older jordans due to materials used but yeah use your shoes sporadically and clean them after use to keep them looking crisp for years to come.
So what happens to the shoes the soles are removed from? Are they trashed? Don’t get it.
Damn you're good
That’s fucking talent!!!😂
"i cant believe youve done this"
Hai Vetiver. What kind of glue do you use? Thank You
I’m using KENDA FARBEN, Renia glues :)
you can find them for repair glue
Like new !!!
Almost every restorer shave down the midsole because the donor sole is from a 2016 release and the upper is the 1999 retro.
He made it without shaving the midsole and it looks flush like factory 👌🏼 a 1999 upper on a 2016 midsole crazy.
I don't know if the person he's doing this pair asked for them to be done that way....But people I've done swaps for would be pi$$ed is I used a outer soles with a jump man instead of the OG one with nike on them....I'm not talking down on him but that is not the correct way to do a swap....
Shoes are meant to be worn not stored for safe keep 🤔
i've never understood the concept of shoes you don't wear, like...get a model version or smth? i do love watching these restorations though
Pretty sure this is the older models made with different materials.......but yes you should wear your shoes
What is the liquid you used for cleaning the out-sole?😳
That,s why I'm reading these comments. Wonder if its the deglazer he used in the beginning? I was curious about his paint as well. Guess I Gotta do some research.
What glue are you using? please let me know
We are using lots of type glue.
Kenda Farben glue, Renia glue, etc...
I used Renia and some hardener :)
How about Jordan 4 sole swap??
That's why i against keeping shoe in shoebox. You will forget to wear them no matter how "safe" is it. Keep them on the shelves on wear them according to your rotation.
I have so much regret I got that one I gave brand new to a friend and He kept them in bad room they die before been use and he trashed them broke my heart
What did you squirt into your contact cement-and why?
What cement?
@@zeynep_1717 the glue. Thought that was contact cement, no?
Great title to this one although I would've just named it- "Jordan isn't for buying"...
The emergency room ... that made me laugh out loud! Very funny. The best days are when VETIVER posts a new video! And how do those insanely expensive shoes fall apart so easily??
Top
Which year retros are these?
I think, 2012 :)
@@VETIVER no, 2012 had a Jumpman on the back. These look like the 99 version because of the speckles.
Such a shame all that money they paid for those sneakers to have them just fall apart like that I actually seen that happen before on a pair of Jordans.
That only happens when you dont wear them
wooow
What year were these from?
I guess, 2000~2010 :)
