Only 7 bedrooms in such a huge place ? I guess the attic rooms are undeveloped, but even so they must all be very large rooms. It's a beautiful place, but it's 'listed' status says to me 'beware of the regulations' !
Looking at it again - the first thing I'd do in trying to sell this place would be to get rid of all the ghastly tablecloths - they kill any semblance of 'style' at all......tacky 1950's floral stuff that completely mismatches anything else in those rooms ! And Modern black leather couches in a Listed Castle ?

Very nice looking place, unfortunately buying it is just the first, and probably - over a short period - the smallest chèque one will write.
These comments are so annoying. You don't buy a €2 million castle if you can't afford the upkeep, and a property like this can be planted with fruit trees or vines or host events to turn a profit.

Probably because the owners contact British agencies. Lots of châteaux are bought by British and American citizens (well, since Brexit, I guess less Brits buy).

@@heliedecastanet1882 but is it the same quality of deliverable though? I feel different if I were buying from French vis a vis an " indian" with no French qualities or competencies. The mileau of the product matters! I'm buying a feeling + product. Not just a cold commodity.
@@heliedecastanet1882 these owners should think twice about what type of firms they enlist to help them get their chateaux s MONETIZED. Potential Buyers such as myself. Which are few and rare in the future. Are extra picky. Also I countertax the anglos for being anglos.
