  • This week on Simply Ming, Ming is deep in the heart of Texas cooking with Chef Stephan Pyles, the "Culinary Dean" of Dallas! The theme is Texan cheese as we make homemade mozzarella and goat cheese cella. Chef Pyles then cooks up a Smoked Tomato Soup with Pan-Fried Mozzarella and Basil Crème Fraîche while Ming makes a Goat Cheese Crostini with Frisee Salad.(Episode 1324)

    Hey, Ming! "Texan" is a noun, NEVER an adjective. Texas is the state and also an adjective, so it is Texas cheese, not Texan cheese. You gotta learn the local language. Couple of other weird adjective forms: Michigander (not Michiganer) and Carolinian (not carolinan).
