Eric Heberling was also pretty cool back in the day.
If someone combined the Wintersynth mood with traditional instruments it could be taken to even greater heights. Lurs, harps, lyre, flutes, horns all would compliment this unique sound so well. And I do mean compliment, it's important to maintain that dreamy feeling and not make the composition too busy.

This reminds me of Norwegian Black Metal. Like Emperor and the synth cords their known for. Like "Into the infinity of thoughts". Black metal also known for portraying winter and cold. See for example the album cover of "In the Nightside Eclipse".
We are just moving into winter in the southern hemisphere so this is perfect. Keep up the brilliant work. Remember, it's always winter somewhere :)
