Citizen,
hereby, I, as an Inquisitor of the Ordo Xenos, pronounce judgment upon your deeds. Your inclusion of 'The Farseer' in a Warhammer 40K Dungeon Synth album is a grave heresy. This song, bearing the title of one of the vilest of Tau-creatures, is a xeno-abomination that sullies the sanctity of our Imperial creed.
Your art, otherwise adorned with titles honoring our great Imperium, is now tainted by this one egregious transgression.
You stand guilty of spreading xenos influence under the guise of creativity, a sin unforgivable in the eyes of the Emperor. Let this judgment serve as a stern reminder: the Imperium tolerates no sympathy towards the alien, the mutant, the heretic. Repent, for only through penance can your soul find salvation.
The Emperor's justice is swift and absolute, and His will shall be done.
tau? Not eldar?
@@themigratingcoconut562 you ask a lot of questions, citizen.
Perhaps we should have the Interrogator find out from where a surely loyal imperial subject would have such knowledge of the Xenos-Scum from.
Well done

This hits different when you're sitting in a dirty habblock at 3am, puffing on a lostick and swilling bathtub amosec.
Another day of work at the slaughterhouse tommorow. The piglet I rescued is growing too big for the space here.. I don't know what I'm gonna do and this wound is starting to fester on my hand.

That's a VERY cool illustration. I love the medieval painting style.
Thankyou! I told my artist John that I wanted an homage to Burzum's iconic Daudi Baldrs cover but with 40k, and I think it worked out. He's very talented.
Clicked on the video because of the art, and now listening to the album. Judging a book by the cover is often a rather good idea.
I feel there is a major problem with WH40K art - it is often way too cartoonish, childish, cheesy, exaggerated. This illuminated manuscript style suits some of the more serious aspects of 40K perfectly. @@WellandJoyceArtist
@@pezhetairosnikephoros931 thankyou so much, man. I really appreciate that. It is definitely the goal of this project to capture what I feel is the "actual" universe of 40k, the one that exists outside of the huge wars and conflicts. And one of the coolest aspects of 40k, and one that I feel is being lost sometimes, is the mediaeval historical inspirations represented by purity seals, statues and the unreliable third, fourth, fifth hand accounts of mythologised battles or stories that no one knows if they're actually true (etc.). for me 40k exists as a really fascinating case of world building. It's weird, it's over the top, but there's also supposed to be real people living here, and that to me is more fascinating than all the rest of it. The real credit for the art has to go to my fantastic artist though, John Saxon who took my assignment of replicating a famous mediaeval-style painting from a Burzum cover in the 40k universe. He did a great job. Thankyou for your kind words. It's super appreciated.
I think it's inspired by Vargs cover for Burzum - Dauði Baldrs
@@vornamenachname594 It certainly is :) I told my artist I wanted a 40k version of that cover to pay homage.
The art looks like a fresco you'd see in the chapel of an imperial world that hasn't had astartes presence for a long time. An interpretation from so long ago that the astartes are treated as almost mythical divine beings.
For most of humanity they are in fact mythical beings.
this is sick to think about. Would be a cool 1st series for Warhammer with the Astartes showing up right at the end of the 1st season!
At last! 40k and Dungeon Synth come together!
IN NOMINE IMPERATORIS!
When my 2 favorite mythologies collides…⚔️
Burzum’s Dauði Baldrs + Warhammer 40.000
Warhammer Dungeon Synth is the most unsurprising surprisingly good combo ever. A lot of the tracks here really have that “We’ve won, but at what cost?” 40k vibe. Makes me want to paint some rogue trader era marines…
Thankyou! That means a lot!
The track "celebrating victory with sleep" is the most realistic example of conflict. I'm a disabled Iraq vet pushing 40. All I want is some peace and quiet. Doesn't mean I ain't willing to make the boltgun go brrr again...
Love the take on the Dauði Baldrs album art
Thankyou Wulf! I'm glad you spotted it! My artist did a very good job.

Arbites Speeder chase is a damn bop.
Haha nice Burzum reference in the album art

Must buy, this is food for the soul!
Thankyou! Please do! All the support helps so much.
The art looks like something you’d see in real stained glass. Very nice
Thankyou I'll send this comment to my artist he'll really appreciate it.
I love how it sorta looks like something off a medieval tapestry.
This soundtrack fits perfectly with the background of the non-action moments I imagine in the 30k/40k universe.
Thankyou so much! That's exactly what I aim for with this project. The actual living breathing world of 40k has always been more interesting to me than the wars and conflicts. I'm glad you've enjoyed!
I clicked on this so damn fast.
Reminds me I need to start collecting space marines. Kind of want to paint Silver Skulls.
Give my orks someone to tangle with
Of course I clicked on this as a true servant of the Emperor, but I keep coming back because its genuinely amazing. The Emperor protects!
He surely does. Thankyou friend
3 months...still in my weekly playlist, man i can't wait for next astra telepathica release!🔥🔥🔥🙏
Could listen to the Arbites Speeder Chase on repeat for like an hour.
I think I'm going to let this play in the background the next time I fire up Rimworld. Awesome stuff!
Thankyou so much!
I keep coming back to this over and over. A superb accompaniment to just sitting and drawing with my earphones in. Love it! 🤘😊🤘
Thankyou! That makes me so happy that it can bring you some joy.
This music and art reminds me of Burzum’s early non-metal recordings. The album art design looks like it could be on one of those albums, but instead of Viking warriors, it’s 40k-inspired astartes. I can see 40k be an inspirational source of mythology thematically on genres such as Black Metal, Gothic Rock, and Power Metal, etc,,, the same way Nordic mythology and Lord of the Rings had an impact on such genres thematically. Especially the gothic grimdark aspect of 40k
That is exactly what I told my artist, to recreate the Baldrs cover
@@WellandJoyceArtist Yes that’s the one I was thinking of! That is so awesome!
I will be listening to this to get me in the mood to write more lore for my custom space marine chapter. The mood of this fits the Helwrought Chapter so well. "What is death!!" The Helfather called in his vox bead. "To those who are dead already!!" The Immortals called back in their augmented and grating bionic voices. Those not of the Immortal company only hear the grating bark of their penitent brothers. Thinking it is a toast to the fallen. "To those who are dead already!!" Only, the truth behind it is far darker. Those penitent brothers of the Immortal company hide a dark secret for the chapter.
High quality comment

Really nice touch that it ends similar to how it started.
Thankyou!
From the moment I understood the weakness of my flesh, it disgusted me. I craved the strength and certainty of steel. I aspired to the purity of the Blessed Machine. Your kind cling to your flesh, as though it will not decay and fail you. One day the crude biomass you call a temple will wither, and you will beg my kind to save you. But I am already saved, FOR THE MACHINE IS IMMORTAL. Even in death I serve the Omnissiah.
Ohhh man, this is another level 🔥
This is some of the best DS I've heard in a long time, full stop.

This is really cool I'm listening to it and playing Helldivers, it fits great
As much as I love the crazy gothic chanting, the bombastic church organ music, and other crazy 40k tunes, I always felt like this is just as 40k. The gothic Darktide stuff is 100% 40k, but so too is this. I imagine that after a battle, or during the assault breaches and times between, that this would be appropriate.
Arbites Speeder Chase slaps so fucking hard!
Thankyou :)

I was really waiting for the genre of dark and calm music to be combined with a dark and cold future.
This is my all time favorite dungeon synth album. I'm not even an 40k fan. Nothing I've listed to it has been anywhere near as good.

Found my new soundtrack for writing 40k stories, this is fantastic!
Thankyou so much! I'm glad you enjoy it :)
This is incredible. Artwork adds to it as well, absolutely stunning!
Thankyou :)
What this album does is capture the essense of the 40k universe: in the Imperiums quest to keep humanity alive, every single person has to lose their own individual humanity.
A drop of rain hitting the pacific ocean: that's the life of every human in the Imperium.
Every life and sacifice of an Imperial Guardsman, and every life of every citizen toiling endlessly in a Hive world factory is completely meaningless, insignificant and forgotten...but as a whole, each of the countless live's sacrifice and toil is completely meaningful, significant and unbeatable in the collective form of the Imperium...
It really is a story of the death (metaphorical) of the individual resulting in the thriving of the collective, making the individual not dead, and their lifetime at the same machine in the same factory until they die a life that has purpose.
Beautifully put, brother. I'm glad my music could help bring this universe a little more to life for you.
both of my interests collide in beautiful ecstasy
May the emperor bless thee :)
And thee also
I've listened to this whole album about 7 or 8 times now, and its great. I didn't even know dungeon synth was a thing until I ran across another album by Wulfsige, "Heavy is the Crown." I absolutely love that one and I adore this one! My favorites are easily Starbeams Through Stained Glass and The Farseer; I could listen to either on repeat for hours easily. Keep up the good work man, and give my props to your artist: the art reminds me of 12th and 13th century medieval art and its insanely good!
Thankyou! I appreciate the kind words. For some other Dungeon Synth albums kinda similar to this one, I recommend The Lunar Lexicon by Aindulmedir and Phantasmagoria of Winter Wizard by Lacrimorphiosis. Don't ask me why their names are the way they are, we dungeon synth producers like to be complicated haha.
@@WellandJoyceArtist Sometimes complicated is good.

Love this! Was introduced to dungeon synth through this channel and am now loving it. Subbed (although the Emperor is weak before the might of Chaos)
Utter heretic nonsense. If the Emperor were not a genuine threat to Chaos, they would not have bothered pausing their Great Game just to interfere with him. Philosophical "if it bleeds, we can kill it", I think. They are afraid. The Emperor will win, eventually. Especially if he dies and becomes the fifth Chaos God, as is projected. He WILL win the Great Game. For Humanity.
Bought the album, excellent work.
Thankyou so much :)
Definitely using this on my next game of 40K with the boys 🔥
Astartes vessel approaching, for me is the best hands down.Wish i could have an extended version of it
Holy crap this is good. So, so very good. Each melody has its own very distinct atmosphere, theme, but they are fit together so well. There is a tendency for 40k/space grimdark music to default to intense and usually either organ or orchestral heavy. These calmed tracks are a very good difference from the norm.
If I had to pick a specific track as favorite, it'd have to be Emperor's Distant Moons. It's a very calm, non-grand track, and yet there still is that space+gothic atmosphere 40k uses.
Thankyou so much! That's exactly what I was going for. A bit tired of the "grimdark war brutality" and just wanted something for the moments of calm between all that.
What an otherworldly masterpiece this is! Listen, I really love Our Distant Stars and jam to it often, but this is an improvement in every way. The atmosphere you have crafted is dense and enveloping. The songs have a kind of vastness to them that really makes you feel like you're drifting through the emptiness of space. There's great variety between the tracks, from dark gloomy ambiance to banging techno, the inclusion of more melody and rhythm was an excellent choice. The biomechanical soundstaging is an ideal blend between sci-fi and fantasy, perfectly fitting the 40K world. And last and certainly not least, the artwork is a breath of fresh air, damned be all the foul machine spirits!
By the Emperor, you have truly outdone yourself this time. I'm gonna be genociding a lot of xenos and heretics to this, believe that! Looking forward to what other grimdark treasures you will bless us with in future. THE EMPEROR PROTECTS!
This is by far the most encouraging and lovely message I've had on an Astra Telepathica album. Thankyou so much and have a wonderful day. The Emperor Protects.
@@WellandJoyceArtist I'm overjoyed to hear that, thank you! Your music brightened my day, so I hope I managed to brighten yours. Cheers!
