This is basically a movie about adulthood. Everyone seems to be moving on and up while you're stuck trying to figure the hot water heater
THE LAUGH I JUST SNORTED OUT
IM DEAD 😭😭😭LMFAO
Lmao 😭😭
**in tiny print** when you could've just done it all yourself by using youtube, but you didn't know you could do that because you only see the internet as a narrow instrument. a story of disempowerment and limiting beliefs
A24 in 2023! Woohooo?
This is one of those movies to watch on a Tuesday afternoon on spring day after calling in to work cause you were feeling under the weather.
Or just any time cos it's good
Or on a late fall early Saturday evening. When there's just a bit of light left in the sky. After a day of raking and tidying up the yard. Cuddled up on the sectional, in your organic cropped loungewear, sipping a hot tea.

I always watch this type of movie when I'm travelling particularly in airplane, it's just a cozy experience
you described it perfectly. you made mer remember what it was like to feel happy. thx
Seeing Andre in a movie like this is so cool. He always talks about he doesn't feel hip enough anymore, he feels adult and this movie portrays that on the arts
Yes, Andre is so special. Not that the others in this film aren't, I just find him to be extra special. Excited to see this.
frrrr
I gasped so loud when i saw 3k he has always been my fav artist in and outside of music. Super excited for this movie
LOVE HIM IN ANYTHING💪🏾💪🏾👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾
It’s great to see Hong Chau in another A24 movie. Glad she’s getting a lot of exposure now because she’s so underrated.
I watch movies because she's in them and I wish people realized this. She's the reason I watched Menu and she's the reason I'll watch this.
@@pippaesque7906 she’s outstanding there and the movie rocked actually imo.
i'm glad she's in roles where she doesn't have to pretend asian accent anymore
@@youlikeanh Her accent in Downsizing was pretty accurate and based on people she grew up with. Some accents, like a Russian accent or a Jamaican accent, when they are done accurately, they can sound "stereotypical"-- because there's a lot that's right in a stereotype, it just twists the truth and creates a lot of negative associations. I think it's sad that non-English accents have been so demonized that strong ones sound "stereotypical" or "inaccurate" or "fake."
she was also great in the Watchmen HBO series
A24 always has the best trailers. They never spoil the film's plot
I'll definitely see this 🎥 for Andre 3000
One of my favs at the last Cannes Film Festival. Saw it just after the award ceremony and it was such a nice, calm and relaxing piece of film. Yout being projected into the life of a woman in it's thirty, who live as an artist. And then Reichardt follows a thread of ironic, touching, meditating sequences about life going on on screen. By little touches, she show us all kinds of feelings, thoughts and situations. And you just happen to carry on with it... Truly magic on film
I found your comment really soothing and magical to read, thanks for that
@@Selkie7 Oh, thank you very much ! English is not my native language so I wasn't sure if I did mistakes haha
Why do Americans speak like they are incredibly bored and whining all the time? Seriously? Serious question. It's very odd. Not great acting, just vocal fry and whining.
@heisenbergsnake2858 Thanks for the thoughtful review. Will check it out.
O my god people u have no lives. Go out, see the world, do not waste your precious time on such a dull movie about nothing
Michelle Williams is one of the best actress of her generation. She's a chameleon in many of her movies. She can really dissapeared into a role, as much as she's extremely invested in her character. So yeah, I'm always excited to see a movie starring Michelle Williams especially when it comes to smaller indie stuff with dark tragic themes that apparently she prefers in picking roles
But one thing I'm curious about is: How do you feel about Michelle Williams?
ugh, I cannot stand her in all her BLAND performances, same person in every movie. Hair, makeup and outfits she is a chameleon, but who isn't. I steer away when I see her in a movie. Blah.
She had an abo rtion so she make a film. Stunning and brave. 🤡
@@eatsomeseaweed9760 huh??
I could not recognise her at all. And it's not like I'm not familiar with her, I've seen most of her stuff. It's uncanny!
Something about his trailer was really soothing to me. I'll definitely be checking this out...
‘I get up and do a little of this and a little of that, then before you know it’s time to watch tv again’ …ok now he’s actually living the dream 😂
Fuckin' paradise right there. 😎
I am retired and yes, it is exactly like that.
Nothing wrong with just living. We've earned it 😊
A girl in my class at college did dig a hole for one of our sculpture projects. It became this real battle with her and the earth. It was fantastic. Loved art college. It can express yourself in many ways. Looks like a great movie. Can wait to see it.
haha describing a woman digging a hole as a "battle with the earth". pretty good
Well I had a battle with your mom
so anything's art now, I guess?
@@shailthakker980 isn't that wonderful, though? That it's up to each person to decide?
@@shailthakker980 “a battle with earth.” God you people are so overly dramatic and self obsessed. You’re a parody of yourself.
Michelle Williams is an absolute gem, and if you really want to see her best performance watch Manchester by the Sea, you will definitely tear up
That movie is still so underrated!!
I’m still so peeved she didn’t win Best Supporting Actress! Viola Davis was the Co-lead in Fences and should’ve been nominated as such.
Michelle Williams in Manchester was just . . . I feel like crying just thinking about it!
Why did I think that was Maya Hawke for a sec lol ?
She’s awesome in Dick too
She's great in Wendy & Lucy too, she didn't even shower during filming to stay in character, people didn't even recognise who she was, brilliant movie about a homeless girl and her dog.
When I think of actors who consistently deliver strong supporting performances, Hong Chau is one that comes to mind.
It’s also cool to see Andre 3000 back on the big screen.
I had to rewind it back to see if it was really him lol I'm glad he's back too I'm a big fan.
Why do Americans speak like they are incredibly bored and whining all the time? Seriously? Serious question. It's very odd. Not great acting, just vocal fry and whining.
What other performance by Hong Chau would you recommend? I just watched her in The Menu and got hooked
When I saw this email show up, I actually laughed because a Kelly Reichardt comedy about making art is everything I have ever wanted from A24. This looks delightful and I am so excited!
Hong Chau is everywhere AND I AM HERE FOR IT!!!!
Fr fr ‘you’ll eat less than you desire and more than deserve’
Being an artist, this film seems pretty close to home and accurate. I even recognize the art they're using at 1:40. The artist is Michelle Segre, and I hope she's credited.
Why do Americans speak like they are incredibly bored and whining all the time? Seriously? Serious question. It's very odd. Not great acting, just vocal fry and whining.
KELLY REICHARDT!!! Always so underrated! One of my fave "hidden gem" directors, along with Nicole Holofcener.
Kelly Reichardt is maybe the most underappreciated American director today. She’s on such a hot streak, I’ve loved everything of hers since Wendy and Lucy.
A movie for artists and art enthusiasts, love it!

Actually it looks like another movie that largely ridicules artists.
Love Kelly Reichhardt movies. They're all so special
Michelle Williams, what a talent! Hope she gets some awards sometime soon…
frr
Can’t believe that’s her. Did not recognize until your comment.
Yay a Kelly Reichardt film! Such a reliably awesome director. Love all her work ❤
Yeah, her films are always great👌
Hong Chau taking over the cinema experience for real. The Menu, The Whale and now this 🎉
She’s definitely “Showing up” 😂
Michelle is a very talented actress and I also love A24 bring in many somewhat unknown actors for the movie, giving them the opportunity to shine.
i was thinking about this movie being nowhere to be seen yesterday and then the trailer gets released .... so glad, it looks awesome !!!
ITS REICHARDT SEASON BABYY
We all better be Showing Up to the theater, because this looks wonderful.
A24 is consistently putting out such fantastic movies! Can't wait for this.
This looks like such a beautiful movie. I love these movies that just showcase someone’s life in a such an honest and unabashed way.
I just saw Michelle Williams and Judd Hirsch in The Fabelmans. It was so good and I am expecting the same for this movie with them in the cast.
A24 is killing it right now. I have watched about 5 trailers from them and I want to see all of them.
Hong Chau was hilarious in The Menu, this movie looks interesting!
She’s the best in Synecdoche, New York, Take This Waltz, Manchester, Halloween H20, Dick and can’t wait to see her in Fablemans. She’s seriously becoming my favorite actress.
Kelly Reichardt and Michelle Williams are one of my favourite director actor duo in Hollywood. Wendy and Lucy, Certain Women, and Meek's Cutoff, these small indie movies that I truly love watching it and I can't wait to see their fourth collaboration in this movie. It looks as good as I expected from a Kelly Reichardt movie and I'm hoping this to be the best in their collab
Hong Chau is finally getting the love she DESEERRRRVVESSSSSS
This is giving me flashbacks to the single week I spent at an 'artist commune' before I gave up and left to study graphic design instead.
As an installation and dance artist I’m so excited for this! I’ve always been really scared about how I’m gonna make it as an artist when I get older. Interesting perspective, can’t wait!
Trade school is helpful.
THEEEEEE ANDRE 3000 BENJAMIN!!! I’m here for it!
Hopefully it's not just a cameo appearance. 🤔
Andre!!!!
Hong Chau is getting some dope roles lately.
love that Hong Chau is just appearing in every movie
New comfort movie spotted
I can't believe Judd Hirsh is still alive and still acting!
This movie is gonna bring back all the frustration I felt in art school. I can feel it.
Kelly Reichardt is one of the most gifted filmmakers ever!
The movie depicts one of easy-going situations in someone's life along with the complexity of any obstacles deterring the determination to achieve something. Hats off to the director, screenwriters and all actors.
I love movies about everyday life artists! I'll definitely be watching this
Glad i watched this trailer, almost scrolled past it. This looks really good. When is coming out?
I have a crush on this movie.
this looks fun! excitedd!! 🥳
i would most probably cry over this
John Magaro's voice is so unique that I could make out it is him without even looking at his face. Past Lives AND this - I'm excited for Magaro!!!
Beautiful!
OMG, cant wait for this movie!!! Michelle Williams again showing us her talent! I never recognize her voice. She can just transform like no one else.
It's at the movie theatre down my street. I will go see it tonight.
This is my kind of film! Can’t wait
Michelle Williams is seriously a national treasure when it comes to acting. Literally a whole another level of acting skills, not only that she's one of the best actress of her generation but she's also one of few actress who deserves to win an Oscar atleast once in her career
Need more movies like this
hong chau eraaaaa and im loving it
This looks like the most A24 movie. I love it.
This looks delightful. I'm SO READY to watch something w/o a cape in it.
Hong Chau was amazing in The Menu now she’s everywhere, which surprised me and make me exciteddd loll
I just rewatched Wendy and Lucy the other week not knowing this was happening. So glad!!!
I hope to receive this screener as well. so far everything everywhere and the whale from A24. this looks good too!
I do want to watch this. Looking forward to it hitting streaming.
Omg it’s been a minute since I’ve seen her in a movie.
Kelly Reichardt and Michelle Williams' films are always excellent.
A movie of the art of living
A24 make a lot of bangers and never disappoint
Hong Chau you will always be famous 💕💕💕
I swear to God the release of a new A24 trailer is like a mini Christmas for me.
I really loved the first cow looking forward to this one
This film would of been huge in the 2010’s. Glad indie films are still around.
Looks fabulously real and down to earth capturing how people really are.
When/where can I watch this in the uk. Been looking forward to this one.
Michelle Williams is such a great actor that I didn’t even recognize that was her until her name popped up lol. Kudos to the makeup and costume department
👍 agree! A model extra/background Kelly introduced me to Michelle all masks up too. Didn't know it was her til after they left. So exciting to be able to see artist at work
Anything A24 makes is a treasure
This looks so good!!
A24 keeps giving
such a wonderful film!
3 Oscar nominated actors in this movie ❤❤❤
Count me in. I'm sold. When can I see this?
Yayyy so happy to see André… can’t wait for this artsy film ☺️
A24 is killing it this year.. Smile, m3gan, and now this..
You forgot Whale
They didn’t produce Smile or M3GAN lol
the "have a great night" after expelling your frustration is relatable
A24 seem to release the most interesting stuff! Thank God for them.
Andre finally back on the screen
A24 is bussin
Love, love, love this movie
hong chau is taking over and im living for it.
This looks REALLY GOOD!!! ♥️ HAVE to see it. ♥️🥰
I really want to join this class too. Oh wait, I forgot I have to wash my hair that day.
I can't believe Judd Hirsch is 87 - he looks so good, and still acting. Love Michelle Williams - she's so good.
The Beautiful Film😍
menopause, the movie. man, kelly reichardt used to be one of my favorite directors. what happened to the person who made Old Joy or Wendy & Lucy. Night Moves, even. loved those
I'm so glad to see Three Stacks!!!
I feel I may watch this film more than once or just one time because I’ll get that ultimate Garden State image that I tried to forget and it’s definitely a vibe for Creative People. Music may change my mind about it.
Looking forward to this!
Life of a artist
i love the interesting approach to the visual style it gives, a lot of grain for sunny day scene and dark scene . very interesting IM EXCITED TO SEE WHAT THIS ALL ABOUT!
Love that 3 stacks is in this movie, I might see it
I love Michelle Williams. She is truly gorgeous and talented.
Omg I can’t wait to see this!
Só pelo trailer já amei o filme!! Ansiosa pra assitir!!
