Amazing how Mercedes-Benz keep going evolution from Distronic, Distronic Plus, Distronic Plus with Steering Assist, to all continous generation Autopliot Systems.Great, very helpfull, and amazing!
E T the key to having a Mercedes for ever is to do regular oil changes and other maintenance. Also use premium gas. The maintenance is more expensive than other cars but there are ways to lower the cost. Instead of going to the dealer, go to individual auto shops where the mechanic is a certified Mercedes mechanic. Most of them have work at Mercedes before and left to open their own shop. Right now I’m having work done on my 2015 S 550 and then I’ll sell it. It has 140,000 miles and still feels great. There is a chance that I’ll keep it as a work horse to save the mileage on the 2019.
Jerry Thanks for the reply! Totally agree with you. Definitely should not skip out on regular maintenance. The w222 i think has also not had any major issues/defects reported and after your confirmation of having driven 150k miles i believe a well taken car should be a good buy. Especially now since many trade-ins will be expected. 😉
