- This is Canadian folksinger Garnet Rogers singing his song "Small Victory," which is about a horse that he owns. This was recorded with Rogers' permission on June 21, 2019, at Mason District Park in Annandale, Virginia.
This is the CZcams channel for AnnandaleArts, which shows concerts, events, news and features from the Annandale, Virginia, area. This video was shot with a Panasonic GH5 camera and a Panasonic ZS100 camera. The audio was recorded directly off the house mixer on a Tascam DR-40 recorder.

I remember Garnet from almost 45 years ago at the Oval Coffee House, John Abbott Campus near Montreal (surely he's the same man)... Stan's brother, yes? We met that night.

I was a big fan of his father. I was out driving today when this song somehow popped up on one of my Spotify playlists and I completely choked up while driving. I'm a big fan of horses too. He sounds just like his dad.

I only recorded the first three or four songs on video. I did record the entire concert on audio. I would be happy to send the audio recording to the performer. I believe the entire concert was recorded by Fairfax (Virginia) Cable TV. You might try to track it down there.

I would only upload the audio of the concert if I had Garnet Rogers' approval. I did ask if I could upload a video of a song or two, and I have uploaded one song. I did not ask if I could upload audio of the entire concert. If you'd like to coordinate getting him to approve it, I will upload it.
