Perhaps the most useful video on the topic on the internet. I was struggling to adopt a north american accent (if there is such a thing) after migrating from Asia, but was not convinced that it would work. After watching this video now I can be myself, without the need of trying to speak in a fake accent and still sound powerful and authentic. Thanks Conor

One of the reason why i decided to watch all your videos teacher is because I want to be like YOU as a Good speaker. The way you talk, the way you deliver the message and controlling your voice. You are calm and very clear. I'm very amaze to you sir.
I hope someday if God will am a good speaker also. :-)
    God bless you always teacher.

I enjoy the right silence, it gives time for the listener absorbing the idea and feeling like the speaker cares if the audience are following or not.

Thanks. You can change the world. The ability to speak is a powerful gift. Every good and perfect gift comes from the Father of Lights (ultimately). The best gift ever given to mankind is the Living Word Which became flesh and died for us so that we might have everlasting life. When we wait on His love, our fears our cast away and we gain control over ourselves. Thus our voice will have a wonderful influence on those who hear us. Blessings

Very nice tricks Conor. Thank you for sharing that.
Two remarks though. From a videography point of view, I find surprising you didn't look directly at the camera lens. I think that looking straigh at the viewer is a strong way to make our speech even more assertive -- and in our occidental culture it helps in building trust. But maybe there was some reason I missed here for that choice ?
More "seriously" do you have some extra tips for people like me that are non-native English speakers and that talk with a very noticeable accent ? I know the best would be practicing and training to remove that accent. But maybe there are some tricks to help overcome that extra difficulty and maintain connection between the speaker and its audience ?

People who say “she speaks higher to preserve her voice” are so annoying. There’s more to a person voice than just their pitch. There is tone, cadence, dialect, etc etc.
There’s multiple aspects to someone’s voice and she changes all of them depending on the image she wants to project. She’s a sociopath lol
