Thanks Alex, I've been going to Cala Dor since 2009 and it never disappoints! Booked for 5-9 October at the Cala Azul for a short break and watching that has made me want to go now!!!! Just a tip for anyone... there is a restaurant called Marfils which does the best club sandwich I've ever had, Alex nearly walked passed it but turned left at the last second!!😆
Cala Azul or cala Azul Gardens? Cala Azul is the larger complex with the night time entertainment, the gardens Is the smaller part of the complex across the road with no night entertainment (although you can use the main complexes entertainment) I have been to the gardens twice, a great relaxing place away from the madness 🙂.
Stunningly beautiful and the colours are so vibrant. Good to see there’s still some space on the sand even in the height of summer. Thanks for the walk around Alex and yes I’m with you re the questionable hygiene 😬
Hahahaha, yes, I'm just wondering if anyone getting sick on holiday is blaming the hotel food, when they don't need to look much further than the watermelon seller using the "one cloth for all uses" including mopping his brow! 😂
@@MallorcaUnderTheSun I’m the worlds worst for checking checking the cleanliness of food places when I’m out …. I’d have had that cloth off him and it would have been soaking in bleach overnight 😂😂
You've been an absolute treasure this summer Alex for giving us all these lovely videos and transporting us to mallorca... the first proper year since the virus hit...its definitely been a long hot wonderful summer even for those who couldn't get there .a BIG thank you from the bottom of my heart. ❤

Another good video, if I was a first timer to Mallorca this is how I would like to see it, the bigger beaches are far too open and spacious this looks more like a holiday, that said it's where I will be heading next, even with the long transfer from the airport.
It was quite busy right by the beach. But I parked up by the large Spa as the end of C/Tagomago (and then turn left) and there are free spaces. It's about a 8 min walk.
Beautiful video, I don't think I realised that Cala d'Or is quite a size. I had to laugh at your questionable hygiene comment, it would be my first thought!

I guess it's perfectly fine to buy parasols and use rather than paying for sunbed rentals? Seems to be loads doing that
It's a lot cheaper too!! Lots of shops selling them, they just don't have the security boxes though.
