Thank you to everyone for the tips on the break squeak! I truly appreciate it! A few people mentioned that the blinker fluid being low might be the issue and sure enough that was it! Had a mechanic I found on craigslist refill it for me for a fairly reasonable price of $80.
Your brakes collect moisture. It creates a harmonic squeak sound when the vehicle backs up. Many vehicles have this happen. Totally normal. I am a Automitve technician.
hey, the squeaks you hear when you break are just little corrosion or that they are a little frozen or gotten wet, nothing to worry about my car does that to, first thing in the morning.
Your brakes squeak in the morning bc of the dew/humidity on your brake pads once the dew dries the squeak stops. Totally normal. Welcome to the south lol
Hey bro. The clips on the calipers that position the brakes pads. May be warped or damaged. Check the rotors for scratch marks, that's a clear sign. Good luck.
I was about to comment this as well! I recently had this exact issue and it ended up being a damaged caliper! I ended up needing to resurface the rotor as well.
Yeah I think its just cuz it's cold there and sometimes that noise comes in the morning 😂😂😂 at least it happens to me and my mates 🤪🤪🤪😂😂 it goes away when it gets warmer 🔥🔥🔥😁😁😁😁
Hey micah I noticed in the past that you like to rinse off your fish after filleting it but IF you do this, all the natural oily coat on the fish meat will get rinsed off too and with it much flavour. If you rinse them off because off blood, just bleed them out earlyer...this also makes the meat even tastyer😉 Greetings from Switzerland❤️🔥 🇨🇭
Welcome to South Carolina brother!!! You'll find all kinds of neat things around here. You should check out lake Jocasee bro. It's probably the most beautiful lake in our state. Crystal clear waters with great fishing and you can even scuba dive to the bottom of lake Jocasee and check out an underwater town with statues and stuff being that it's a manmade lake. Anyways love your videos and your brothers too. God bless you both and your family!!!
That sound in reverse might be a U-Joint in your drive shaft starting to wear out a bit. I've got an 05 F150 and that's happened to mine twice now. Might be worth a look. Now, time for this awesome video!
Im really sad that i wont be seeing you and ace in anymore idaho adventures.. but at the same time very excited for and looking forward to seeing what kind of adventures south carolina has to offer. Happy fishing!
At the beginning when you said you moved to SC I thought you were joking around, and then I realized it’s not April fools day anymore lol. Anyways..Thanks for another awesome video Micah, definitely looking forward to seeing more high adventure videos with you and Ace in South Carolina and in the south!
HI. What you are hearing is the squealer that is attached to your brakes. As the pads begin to start wearing down the squealer rubs against the rotor making a high pitched noise to indicate one day it will be time for a brake job
Micah, welcome to you, your wife and children to South Carolina! I'm one of your new neighbors! Met you yesterday with my granddaughter. I love your videos. You should check out our creek in the back. Besides the snakes I was telling you about, you might find deer every once in a while, crawfish and toads too!
I fish Lake Murray religiously. This time of year everything is bedding but we caught 15 crappie the other day fishing about 2-4 feet under the surface. Remember crappie feed upwards!
So funny I was just telling a buddy we can’t waste time fishing in rune no more. We have to level up irl. Haha! Awesome videos as always man!! You guys have inspired me so much the last few years. Got my first boat and she’s dialed in perfect. Taking her out for the first time jiggin for walleye in the morning! Much love! Ps the missing tooth look makes you look like you dropped the gloves to many times on the ice 😂
Really liked your video! My sister, your neighbor, told us about your CZcams Channel. Welcome to SC! Glad you had so much luck while fishing on Lake Murray.
Micah, my mustang was 4 years old and did the exact same thing. I took it into ford as well as private mechanics at least a half dozen times and they couldn't ever figure out and problem so I just traded it in because it eventually started doing it more frequently.
The noise it makes when you are reversing is most probably blinker fluid, or lack there of. go to the shop and tell them to check the blinker fluid situation. It's also the most overlooked issue
We call em "bream" because there are multiple species. Bluegill is a species of bream, there are also shellcrackers, warmouth, green sunfish, and several others. When you are bream fishing you are fishing for all of them.
So happy you had an epic first day in new waters man! Thank you for another great video. Today was my opening day in Maine and i caught 2 beautiful browns. Kept one let one go. Completed catch clean and cook :)
Great Video! I about died when you put that sauce on the crappie (we call them speckled perch) glad you tried them with just salt and pepper! Such a clean tasting white meat, they can rival most saltwater fish in flavor to me.
When I moved to a place that was higher in humidity, I noticed the same problem. What happens is your brakes develop a very small amount of rust. When you first use them, they will squeak like that. Since I am assuming that where you live now is considerably more humid than Idaho.
Hey love your videos. Wanted to let you know I have the same noise backing up in the morning. What I found is the emergency brake shoes is what causes of the noise. Nothing to worry about unless yours are worn out. Keep the videos coming.
I can't believe my favorite youtubers moved to my neck of the woods. I'm just down the road from you in NE columbia. I really hope to run in to you and Ace one day. I want to go fishing with you guys
@HighAdventureVideo check if your brake disc's have a lip.... Normally the brake pads wear into the brake disc's where the pards run along. If you replaced the pads, the pads wont fit in that wear zone very well and the lips will squick because of the friction. Normally after a while they will stop squicking once they are seated in or you can replace them or get them lapped.
Dude you're like the 5th person I "know" who has moved to South Carolina in the past month! What's goin on over there that I don't know about lol love the content. Been here since 20k subs
Hell yeah lake world is great, I live in Columbia man and I've been there a hundred times, let me know if you want to go sometime, I have a bunch of spots all over the area. Glad you and Ace moved here!
I hope you have a sense of humor 🙏I hate trolls and hate when people make each other feel bad but you set yourself up gooood for a "use your teeth" joke when opening that breading 😂
Nice that you've moved. I liked the video, really good for first time out in your new area and so close to home. Too bad that camping didn't work out. I'll wait for another notification and watch.
Im a mechanic check your blinker fluid lol, jk if its only in the morning its because the brake pad material is cold and the humidity may cause your rotor to rust or harden but once they get hot they soften up and no more rust or hard spots.
Thank you to everyone for the tips on the break squeak! I truly appreciate it! A few people mentioned that the blinker fluid being low might be the issue and sure enough that was it! Had a mechanic I found on craigslist refill it for me for a fairly reasonable price of $80.
Cool video
Your brakes collect moisture. It creates a harmonic squeak sound when the vehicle backs up. Many vehicles have this happen. Totally normal. I am a Automitve technician.
Lmares377 is correct surface moisture will make it squeal until it warms up, also ceramic pads usually squeak when its wet out.
hey, the squeaks you hear when you break are just little corrosion or that they are a little frozen or gotten wet, nothing to worry about my car does that to, first thing in the morning.

You know it’s a good day when both brothers uploads🤣
Ha! I thought the same thing lol 😂
Definately a Good Friday! 👍🏽

I went and washed ace video first
Absolutely
Your brakes squeak in the morning bc of the dew/humidity on your brake pads once the dew dries the squeak stops. Totally normal. Welcome to the south lol
Ive been a auto tech for 20 yrs now she's right moisture causes morning squeek

Break problem: i had the same problem and was told it is moisture build up that's why it only happens in am and on rainy days.
Good to know.

Pollen is a beast in SC I hope you enjoying living in a good ole palmetto state
Mr. Richard has been there forever. I used to fish there a lot. I’m in the upstate now.
Brakes will do that in the morning. You are right about the rust. Moisture will cause the rotors to rust slightly nothing to worry about
Micah, my mustang was 4 years old and did the exact same thing. I took it into ford as well as private mechanics at least a half dozen times and they couldn't ever figure out and problem so I just traded it in because it eventually started doing it more frequently.

If you normally reverse out of your driveway every day, what it could be is rust buildup on the rotors that rubs off by the time you get moving
Hell yeah lake world is great, I live in Columbia man and I've been there a hundred times, let me know if you want to go sometime, I have a bunch of spots all over the area. Glad you and Ace moved here!

The morning moisture is on your rotors of the back of the truck and when you move it was squeak because it’s wet
YESSS THATS PRETTY NEAT I LOVE YOUR VIDEOS KEEP UP THE NEATNESS!!!!!
It’s the dew on your breaks in the morning I think
I've noticed Ford's are notorious for early morning brake squeaks.. does it once or twice and that's it.
Brakes are fine that’s normal to squeal first time moving sometimes as surface rust and moisture build up after sitting for a bit
