The problem that now plagues the US is... "I don't care about politics"... I used to trust the system. Please open your eyes people and get involved before it's to late.
It's been scorching hot in the Central Valley this 4th of July weekend. We visited a friend in Visalia, and it felt like being in a burning inferno. It was miserable, and you didn't want to step outside, even at 8 pm. We finally felt some relief when we got back home to Long Beach, where it was in the mid 80s with a cool breeze.
I hope you had a nice visit at least, aside from the weather! It was 111 degrees in Clovis yesterday. We are heading to Monterey this weekend to avoid the 116 highs. Thankfully, it usually tapers off toward the beginning of August.
