With sunbreak now coming I appreciate how perfect iceborne lance is.
Iceborne Lance is plagued with the exact same issues that Rise Lance has for the most part, though. The only difference is that Rise added 2 moves that are better than the rest of the kit, but are really awkward to use.
Well, Iceborne lance do have counter clutch where Rise lance don't have, counter clutch are way better than rise new sunbreak shield bash and wire bug air thrust attack.
@@jiezai1008 Counter Clutch looks cool, but ultimately, it was a pretty bad move, due to how slow it was, and how much damage you took using it. It helped out a bit with tenderizing, but that's it.
@@JamesNintendoTurd Tenderizing is a problem made and a solution made at the same time and feels like clunk to everyone who is not lance or hammer.
@@JamesNintendoTurd counter clutch gave lance users something the other 13 weapons dont have. And to be be honest the wirebugs to all weapons also took away another thing that only lance have , the mobility while being ing safe from any attacks.
Good to know that MHW lives on.

To think this game is 4 years old at this point. I still pick it up and play it when i dont want to play rise or gu. I wonder if 6 can take its spot as my favorite monster hunter ever. Always hop in just to do fatalis or die to alateaon haha.

MHW Iceborne, Euro Truck Simulator 2, Vampire Survivors and GTAV is the game I never delete in my Steam list. They standby every time
Iceborne is such a sweet package, I've been REALLY enjoying the ICE community mod rn. Sunbreak isn't even out but I'm already looking forward to MH6 because I enjoy the main series so much more lol

@@stryker0ae mhw and mh4u are technically made by A team while mh rise and mhgu are made by Bteam. They have different design philosophies and it shows on stuff like weapon arts from mhgu compared to how simple mh4u is.
@@marcusaaronliaogo9158 to me that just sounds like two different directions. Like more mobile based game vs a full console release (I know switch is mobile too but it counts as Nintendo's flagship console obviously). I don't know if that makes them the B team. Though rise was touted as, and has been a full release mainstream game. Especially with the PC port, steam support, and sunbreak coming soon. I knew it was a different team but I feel like they definitely gave it (mostly) a full go. The one part I think is lacking is how lame the apex's are.

Currently hooked on Elden Ring while waiting for Sunbreak but I still find myself playing Iceborne once in a while and still enjoys it playing with random people.

Now I got 3 different friends to play MHW: Iceborne with me in 2022,
And I still haven't finished Rise lmao
I honestly think about starting with World/Iceborne all over again xD
My Sunbreak Hype is dead and since I openes World just to look what I had remaining on my main acc I basically gor Nostalgia (if you can even say that in this case but you know what I mean).
Rise kinda didn't really do it for me when I think about it lmao (still had fun with it despite the many problems I have with it)

1:08 Man it's upsetting that these new world gunners never got the memo on multiplayer etiquette. It was basically an unspoken rule that you don't use pellet or cluster in multiplayer back in the good old days.

I was really into Iceborne, but when I had to fight Raging Brachydios, and noticed that I needed to farm bounties so that my armor could actually resist his blast attacks...I couldn't bring myself to farm and quit the game.
Maybe one day I will be more motivated for spheres farming.
You don't need to farm bounties or anything if you want materials to upgrade we have event quests that drop ton of those materials.
I think you can farm that on the brute tigrex event quest, try going in and fire that flare, sometimes someone will join just to help. The community is good, the veteran hunters will join just to have fun together. Me and my friend sometimes make an Alatreon or Fatalis room to help the newer players farm or to progress through the stories

I use reshade to make it easy for me to notice some elements of the world better, just vibrance and clarify options you get in Reshade by default no other presets.
