I've spent TOO doggone much time a couple times filing and sanding the heck out of plastic (phenolic) spacers to fit 850 Holley bores🤬- pretty tough stuff.
I will have to say .....not the smartest move crawling in the engine bay. If that hoist malfunctioned or a chain came loose......those legs would have been smashed
Hey, maan, we grew up tough! In our day we got our legs crushed and we LIKED it!🤪 I never seen that before, either, but sometimes a man's gotta do what a man's gotta do. I like how the Pontiac valley pan is designed with the pcv valve mounted in it. Also, you can cut the front water passage off so that it is separate from the rest of the intake manifold. That helps make intake removal/install easier and helps get the seal between the manifold and water pump right. I had a '64 and a '68 GTO. I wish I had a machine shop friend.
