Man, it was such a pain. I'm playing some modded stuff (vault hunters) and needed jungle wood for an altar. Traveled around 35-40k blocks with an elytra in order to find.. nothing. Than gave up and used that command. turns out nearest jungle was just about 4k blocks from my base but in slightly different direction that I traveled. Anyways - thanks for telling that command!

I've created a world and spent hours worth of days on it and traveled so many times and even went past 5000 coordinates and still haven't found a desert biome it's kinda weird right? Literly most of the world I'm in is filled with either iced biome or spruce and I don't wanna cheat or create a new world because I spent so much time on it so ig I'll just keep trying yk heh...

Try this: -make a copyworld of your survival world -type the command in copyworld creative -write down the quardinates -go to the biome in your survival world

this is semi incorrect. U need operator to use the /seed command. reguarl people on others worlds aren't able to do this command . so if ur on a friends realm or somethin as a regular member u cannot do /seed. and /seed is a command. so u didnt actually show a way without cheats/commands
If you are a java player listen: Recreate ur world (dont worry) Open this recreated world Open LAN and put u in creative with cheats on Type: /locatebiome that biome what u looking for Notice the coordinates Go to ur survival world There you go now click F3 to see ur coordinates and go to this number

guys U need to be on java edition (pc) not mobile or console or anything else
just a heads up for bedrock players this doesn't work for bedrock ( xbox, ps4, mobile, switch, and Windows 10)

Maybe because you are playing Minecraft bedrock (pe) it only works on other consoles except bedrock

what if we are in realms and dont have a seed to use
Every world should have a seed of some kind, even in a realm
You can download a backup and go to seed and it gives you the seed :)
