Core drills and chases with a decent drill is the way to go. I don't use mine often enough either, but thats pretty much all i use it for. Had mine 12 years. Still going strong

Another cracking job - as an ex sparks who ended up doing fire/ intruder etc was always had the piss taken out of me for trying to do as you do .....a proper job 👍

Shame there was no airing cupboard in the house to drop down 😩. You’d be surprised at the coverage of the ubiquiti access points in a small house like that 1 downstairs would give pretty good coverage. I do the same with the duct, on my place I’ve got 6x 63mm ducts all coming back to the under stairs cupboard from the kitchen, kitchen island, front garden rear garden and boiler position. Paid dividends so many times now for extra cables or putting stuff in afterwards as and when I can afford it 😂

Great Job, you say tech guys would drill a 10mm hole for the data cable but what is wrong with doing that?
Proper cable containment/protection imo is good workmanship
CAT5? shouldnt it be CAT6 everywhere new for a few pence more?
It was external cat6, just said the wrong thing
