When I was a boy, KSFO in San Francisco used to play these, along with Amos and Andy, and other shows from the golden age of radio. They seemed old to me then, but this show wasn't yet thirty years old at the time.
This was brilliant... I also love how they reference this episode for the next few weeks.
Mel Blanc is the harassed salesman. And Frank Nelson as the Floorwalker. Both are great comedians! Dennis Day and Mary Livingston as well.
