10:36 excellent takedown by the ref. Felder never saw it coming.
Haha brilliant
The ref was betting against Felder
Good ref though! No more punishment was needed there haha
Very good ref it’s great for the sport .
Lmao 😂
That ref needs to go to the ufc that reaction time after the kick.
Herb Dean wouldn’t have even waken up until a few punches later
I thought the same thing that was a great stoppage
seriously. great job by the ref
Exactly what i though. Very good job.
@@location9196 what fight were you watching? felder was definitely going in to do more damage but got pushed away by the ref.
Felder is a legend. Was always a fan favorite. Glad we’ll still get to hear his breakdowns as a commentator
Great fighter he was, legend he is not. With all due respect.
Haha whatever you say bub
@@sheareeder2688 😘👍🏽
He's great on the mic, he's saved Bisping's job a few times now... lol
@@abuzuz5800 I’d like to see him and Bigfoot have a tickle fight match
10:36 best athletic-stoppage in ref history!
Big props to that referee for an amazing eye and speed in that KO stoppage. He really prevented any and all unnecessary damage after that beautiful kick. 🤘🏻❤️
11:30 ref comes to apologize to Felder for knocking him down at the end an Felder with a smile tells him not to worry he was just doing his job. Paul's a good dude lol
The damage Felder took wasn't nearly what the poor unconscious guy would have taken had he not done that. Give that ref a medal.
@@sonofjay817 ref bonus!
He's also a great commentator
@@marko6368
100% agree. One of the best. Real coverage and not clichés like some of the others.
Are you absolutely kidding me ? No
lol this ref really was ready to put his body on the line to protect the defeated fighter.
Yamasaki claiming early stoppage hahah 🤣
Well that's his job
Perfectly timed stoppage. Great ref
Yeah I think that's why they call him a ref
Felder: “Edson Barboza style”
Little did he know... they would :go on to fight & go the distance, twice?!
i know right hahah
Pretty dope.
Damn shows you how long barbozas been around
Little did he know he would suffer his very first loss to Edson Barboza too.
And little did he know... after he'd retire and trade the gloves for a mic, Edson Barboza would go on to win the ufc featherweight strap
felder only really got on my radar once he started commentating. i really enjoy his analysis and his old fights are actually exciting to watch. its a shame that he has retired but i think he has landed a very comfortable position
Old fights? Even his last fights are really nice imo
@@KingNayt he didn’t say only old 🙏
Probably gets paid more to commentate lol
@@arthurmorganx9465 Yep and way less risk of CTE lol. Man is smart thinking about his later years.
he's one of the guys that's smart enough to know that CTE is real
A true warrior! The last guy to finish the current champ
I was sad to hear he'd retired. I'm a fan, he win me over with the all round package~ fighter, analyst, the social media "what I eat" period, the way he handed Josh "Miscavidge" Labia with assertiveness that was perfect. All round good guy, and I believe if he'd beaten hooker he would've been maybe 2 away from getting a shot but because of the depth of 55 and the matches made/planned, it would've taken wins in the middle of the top rankings (5-10), 2 or 3 years prob, and didn't then he might not be sure if a shot. He'd make a great coach, some of these guys like Felder, Cowboy, Joey B......they could turn the BMF Ranch into a "mega gym" and can use all that skill and experience to coach. If he has time, considering he wants to keep doing triathlons.
@@GrheghtsKn_Badman Felder the most inmo. Felder is classy, calm and in one hard package....🍻🥂🥃cheers
@@amodernalchemist432 agree 100% true professional, hard as nails, knowledgeable and seems like a top bloke. When someone said "your not Irish!" And he replied "I'm not a dragon either!" Ahahaha what a response 👏
@@GrheghtsKn_Badman hahahah what a Legend.
A friend of mine was the heavyweight champion of cffc and I went to watch his fight. This was the 1st or 2nd time I saw Felder fight. You could just tell he was gonna make it to the ufc. Felder is a beast
Best promotion out of Houston
Im the heavyweight champ
@@poopsock7493 You beat me once......never again.
Plinio is a dirty pos. He is 400lbs now
@@dawg4769 CFFC not in Houston
felder is someone you can admire and he exemplifies the value of patience as a strategy for generating opportunity. He took every thing that was given to him and did it with excellence and he is one hell of a man
One of the nicest guys and most terrifying savages on the planet Mr. Felder! How can ya not love him?
10:36 rafree did a great job. He avoid the man on ground taking more damage since he was already knocked out.
Thanks for the timestamp, I almost missed it.
How about signing that referee too....good stoppage and protection for the downed guy
Ufc doesn't sign refs
"Johnson is done, he's got nothing, this fight is over", gets knocked out, "are you kidding me?"
Dude deserves everything he gets, what a class act.
Felder is an excellent announcer. I'm so glad they are going to ex/current fighters to announce. Felder, Cruz, Bisbing, etc. are very good and give us the actual facts about what's going on.
That was a good Ref need more like him
happy retirement legend, always a rager whenever you’re in the ring🔥🔥
Without guys like this , we wouldn't have our champions , respect to Paul Feldor .
Easily one of the most consistently entertaining fighters the UFC has had.
He is a great martial artist, I enjoyed watching his career.
The ginger dragon is a true legend! I love his commentary every bit as much as his awesome battles in the cage! Love ya Paul and look forward to hearing your voice in the biggest battles in the UFC future
Some peopie: "You're not really Irish, Paul?!"
Felder: "Surprise, but I'm not really a dragon, either!"
Shit was hilarious. The question seemed like a bait question but he couldn't have given less of a f**k. Lol. What a reply 🤣🤣🤣 Epic
Who are the 34 losers who disliked this?! What a finish! Congrats on a great career Paul. Continued success brother!
That was a great stoppage by the ref to save Johnson from unnecessary damage!
Felder is one of those guys who has never put forth a mediocre effort. Skills, grit and savage. This opponent though...just not in the same league. Felder understood that the young guys competing now...are just too damned more versatile and well rounded for him at his age and he’s also smart enough to recognize that continuing to compete against them would dilute his overall record. I’d still ALWAYS pay to watch him fight though. He BRINGS IT!
Love Felder he has toughness second to none
I'm from Pittsburgh, so I have a natural born and raised distain for Philadelphia. But if there is one thing that I'm glad they've given us its Paul Felder, a warrior in the cage through and through.
Classy Guy Through and Through.
Thanks for bringing class back
Impressive defense and offense. Flawless. Legend. Thanks for everything
Great great great job this was truly nice to watch a guy win this way.....
Dangit! Gonna miss watching this guy fight.
Awesome finish, respect to both fighters
Never saw this guy before but I got to say he looks damn good , very impressive hope to see more of him 👍
Always entertaining tough as nails always enjoy his fights .
"He's OK."
-Derrick Lewis
*HE OK 🤣🤣
that herb dean fault
Ya! No, not at all! Clearly never taken a big shot.
Wish I would have known more about Felder’s career when he was active. Love his commentary and his striking in this match was near perfect
Legend 🔥🔥
One of my favorite warriors
FLAWLESS VICTORY
I'm super excited to see Paul in the UFC. What a phenomenal fight for him.
Greatest Stoppage in MMA!
No joke, Amazing ref.
Someone’s gotta make a clip for that ref... best job I’ve ever seen.
Love to see this .. damn that knee everytime after braking up . Love that
Thank you Paul .
Great Career
Paul Felder, we will always love your fights, and we will miss you in the cage. 🙏
Love Paul such a great also love his cometating
Awesome fighter and legendary commentator. What a career
Paul Felder has that no quit resolve, and rock-solid Constitution
What a fighter & what a true gentleman !x
God damn good wheel kick. Beautiful!
What a stoppage from the ref. Best i have ever seen!
Great fight
A true legend who left it all in the cage, I’ll definitely miss his scraps but glad he got out unscathed.
A gentleman and true ambassador for the sport 👍❤️👍
Amazing
Philly loves you Paul 💪🏻
The guy is a legend..and a pure class act...had the pleasure of meeting him in belfast...what a nice guy
Just a class act!
Good call by the commentator "watch for the spinning back kick"
Great performance,
What a kick!
Such a awesome person
Felder is a gentleman. great reffing too!
What a performance by the Irish dragon! Spinningheel kick was picture perfect.
I dont watch much anymore. Dont know these guys, but that Felder has solid takedown defense. Pretty impressive. Even a layman can see his game is tight from the first second of the fight. Impressive.
Beast!
Ref was phenomenal as well!
The only thing that I dislike about Felder, is his thoughts on his own career. It seems like he disappointed himself for not winning gold in the UFC. He is a fan favorite, and his style is EXCATLY why I love the sport. Thank you Paul.
Yes
DAMN IM GUNNA MISS PAULS FIGHTS...WATTA FOKIN BEAST!!!! TRUE GOD GIVIN TALENT......
Great fight for Paul Felder, and what a magnificent ko
beast
Class act since day 1. Congrats on retirement Paul. You earned it.
I don't know but so far at least In the UFC I already always love watching Paul Felder fight and now after watching this I'd say it was definitely smart to sign him when they did as well.
sick kick
awesome
Excellent stoppage
Great fight!!!!!!!!
There’s levels to this game and fielder was on another level.
The way the coach stayed on top of the action is real speed and reaction! LOL! give that man a real job!
In case anyone's interested: The ref is Liam Kerrigan. He's a BJJ black belt who fought in MMA as both an amateur and pro. He's the owner and chief instructor of an MMA gym in New Jersey.
Side note: He was the ref for a 2018 UFC fight between Dvalishvili and Simon that had one of the most controversial endings ever.
Well I become a fan when I saw how much class he showed by giving props to the guy that he beat..classy
Great stoppage!
Once a stud always a stud.. Felders a straight warrior
Insane
What a finisher.
1.2 million views now on this Paul! That’s amazing! NINJA
LEGENDS NEVER DIE 🐲🐉🍀
I’ve never seen that!
Felder is very talented
Solid
Dude is a beast. You can tell he soild as hell.
That wheel kick was a thing of beauty, also props to the ref for his speed in mitigating un-necessary damage after the KO.
Felder is an honorable great fighter. Incredible commentator as well.
He has been an analyst the whole time!
Felder is the man. How's that reverse high head spinning kick at the end!
Has and always will be my favourite fighter of all time
That was the best ref intervention I've ever seen!
1. Cant believe this is my first taste of Dan Felder. Automatically a fan. Cant wait to see more of him.
2. That Johnson has no quit in him whatsoever. He was pretty hurt and knew it but kept on truckin.
3. That ref could not have done his job any better and deserves a UFC contract too if you ask me.
Crazy ko
Paul seems like such a humble dude
