The method I'm using is not necessarily the right one. Nowadays, you can find out the right way to do things by searching on Google. If you only want results, that's fine too.
But for me, the most important thing is not whether a method is right or wrong, It's about experiencing firsthand why it works or fails.

This video was so lovely and dear...from the beautiful yet simple garden gate, to the new baby birds, to my favorite kitty Gwin - who has such a big personality in his little face (I could watch him all day), to the beautiful spring day with the wind rustling all the tree leaves and the sunshine making everything joyful...I was so sad when the video ended!!! I'll just have to wait until next Friday for the next installment! ❤

I love your carpentry work Brucke, simplicity at it’s finest and wow it looks amazing! Recycled pallets make beautiful things! You are also showing the audience that it’s ok to make a small error as this is how we learn and correct. You have a brilliant attitude to slow living in a fast, chaotic world. It is beautifully made and so elegantly simple. But why I wonder is it so high above the ground? It seems that animals will be able to walk under the fence and gate.
I'm with you??? It will neither keep things in nor out. My guess is possibly he'll have some sort of vines growing on the fence soon and that would add to the beauty of the garden. We shall see.

Your diagonal on the gate should be reversed .The bottom of the diagonal should be on the hinge side to help support the weight of the gate..Not criticism just ĺetting your viewers know if they decide to build a simple gate.
So restful to watch and listen to the breeze.

Turning the screws into the end-grain of the wood as you have done on the gate is not a very strong connection. The threads of the screws have nothing to grip. I am concerned that the gate will not hold very long. Sorry.

I don t understand the purpose of the fence it doesn t keep out animals and it stops you seeing the beauty beyond plus I am sorry to say its very unattractive

@@lis819 that support piece what is diagonal is wrong way. It needs to support from top corner other side than where hinges are.
