Iâm an Air Force vet and spouse of 30yr Air Force retiree. That transition youâre making is a tough one. To this day if I drive into a military facility I immediately feel like Iâve gone home. This added to a family loss would be difficult for any of us. Take care of yourself and family and weâll be here when you need us.
That piece is beautiful! Glad itâs in your entry and hope it brings you joy
Thank you so much, after 20 years as a vet and spouse it is very different!
Crys'Dawna, this piece is so YOU. Sometimes you just have to throw paint at it and see what sticks. Glad you were able to do that here. A transcontinental move, setting up a new home, getting the family settled, loss of a treasured pet, addition of 2 new pups ... that's a LOT! And you've handled it all more gracefully than I (probably most of us) could have. Your creativity hasn't gone missing, just needed a break, and we all understand. â€ïž
Hello Crys'Dawna, What a gorgeous piece. I love how you put your creativity into it.
I am so sorry that this is a tough time for you and your hubby.
I am sorry about the loss of your dog.
Thank you for sharing.
20 years in the military is a career. Adjusting to being on your own in the civilian world is tough.
Take your time. Be gentle and kind to yourselves.
Everything will be alright.
Thank you so so much â€ïžâ€ïžâ€ïž
This piece turned out absolutely beautiful. â€ïžâšI wish I could do the same but I'm disabled and now I can't do a lot of things I used to do.đïžđšđŒïž I used to paint in oils when I was younger. I think I will try to paint đïžmy night table. God bless you and your whole family đ
Beautiful and vibrant, yet serene as well!! I missed your videos and I'm so glad to see you painting again!! All of your changes and stress will just bring another layer to your art!! Blending your life, good bad or indifferent into a beautiful piece of art! I can't wait to see what that becomes đ€
I love watching you create your colourful furniture. There's just something about it that makes me smile!
Thank you so so much â€ïžâ€ïž
I think itâs beautiful donât doubt your talent I find that you made your most beautiful pieces since you came back look for clients you have magic in your handsâ€
I got my BAFA at the age of 55. I wanted to go on to a Masterâs in Art Therapy but they canceled the program a month before going in. So I switched to Counseling in Education with speciality in Grief Counseling. I salute your journey and your patience and your process. Coming from Albuquerque/Santa Fe with a Swiss Grandfather this project has all the feels and my gypsy vibes. Gorgeous!!!
Thank you for sharing all of this. I think you are an incredibly strong person, I also believe you have helped many who are feeling a bit stagnated or lost to find their way. I hope you are healing and healthy. Because the world needs more of you.
Sometimes life can be very overwhelming. Give yourself all the time you need to get your feet back under you. Prayers and positive energy being sent. â€â€
Thank you so much đ
My dad was in the af for over 20 years too and his retirement and our relocating was a difficult time for all of us. I understand completely -- give yourself time to grieve all the life changes and yes, creating things is a great way to heal and for me, music helped too.
Oh girl- that move is no joke. Our stories are so similar and I feel every bit of what youâve been going through. Husband retired from government service after 25 years and started a new job⊠working from home!
New house (and much smaller than old house), new job for spouse, new school for kid. Itâs a lot. And creativity and motivation suffer.
This is beautiful. Iâm on the couch with a stomach bug and bingeing CZcams. Thanks for sharing your gifts.
Iâm so happy to see you again, Iâve been missing your artistic flair and your enthusiasm.
Great dog by the way.
Thank you so much!! It was a well needed break but I am back!!
I watched this after bringing an elderly and severely injured farm dog home after 5 days at the vet clinic. After bringing her here, I am afraid I made the wrong decision to bring her home. Sheâs in pain, isnât eating, and I donât think trying to keep her is the humane decision. Iâll give it a little more time, but I think Iâm just selfish Lu putting off the inevitable. Iâm so sorry about your loss of Canon. I loved seeing him on your videos while you lived in Germany. Iâm glad you made this video. Your paint therapy was also good therapy for me. And Stanley and Rupert are the cutest pups. â€ïž
The minute you decided to do this piece your creativity had already swam to the surface. I can see the beauty of it now that it's all dry. It's gorgeous. You just need to rest now and paint paint paint. A beautiful blend of colours. I'd stay right there just looking at it. Hi from Ireland. I love your work. Thanks for the tutorials. Be well.
You should never apologize unless you hurt someone lovelyâŠcanât wait to see what you create!
I truly believe we should surround ourselves with things that bring us joy. The armour is pretty. I love color. Glad you're back!
Fabulous! As an Air Force vet from Ohio, I understand how discouraging it can feel to go from a strict routine to be allowed to fly by the seat of ur pants, the very thing u dreamed of now feels wrong. It isnât wrong, give urself time to transition. The feeling is like ur waiting for the other shoe to drop, it doesnât. Be well!
Thank you for sharing, lovely to see you painting. So proud of you and no need to ever apologize for taking care of yourself đ„°. Bravo another masterpiece đđ»đđ»đđ»đđ»đđ»Bravo
Thank you so much! â€ïžâ€ïžâ€ïž
Ahhhhh this is your beautiful sunrise! You really have a wonderful eye with the many ways and themes of color blending. This piece truly is you and it is your gorgeous sunrise!
The colours are beautifully sunny and uplifting. It must be a pleasure to see every day.
This piece is so tranquil. Watching you paint is tranquil for me. Sorry to hear you are having a tough time. Take as long as you and your family need. â€â€
So good to see you again, pal! Rupert's gaze of love is too much!!â€â€â€
Isnât he such a cutie!?!?
OMG the blue Iris color? I am not usually a fan of blue, but this one... I am vacationing in Greece (I have family there) I fell in love with this. Anyway, you nailed it, as always, so thank you so much! I hope this gave you the art therapy you needed†give yourself some time. A few months won't add a sufficient layer of new nice memories to ease out of 20 years of something else, and the loss of Cannon. I will happily watch your video whenever it comes. Don't pressure yourself. Greetings from Luxembourg đ±đș
Iâm so sorry about Cannon and Rupertâs adorable. You may have been MIA for a bit but this piece signifies your return! I say this just about every time you blend a piece, no one does it better than you! Welcome backâ€ïžâ€ïžđ
I'm so happy you took time for you and your family â€.
Been watching you for 2 tears now and so happy you found DIY paint! It's my favorite and Debbie is such a great human!!
Thanks for your inspiration!
What a wonderful piece! So happy to see you back. I expected it to take a while. As someone who has moved many times in my life, I know how hard it is. Take your time. Enjoy the little things and come back to us when you can. I think you know we all love you and have missed you. But we are also excited for you, and want to see you do well.
From what i can tell your back to where you were in creativity. Absolutely beautiful.
First. You look AMAZING. Second. So sorry to hear about Cannon...he was a sweet boy. Third. Rupert is adorable. I love pug mixes. We adopted our Jade, who was advertised at 15 weeks old, as a 'Chug' (1/2 chihuahua 1/2 pug). 3 years later...there's no way she has chihuahua in her. More like 1/2 boxer, 1/2 pug... Puxer?? Anyhoo, so glad to see you back. You really do look vibrant. Thank you for another stunning & inspiring piece. (your tutorials are unmatched). the Maestro! Glad you're taking time to get back into your groove. Moving, new house renovations, retirement, kids' summer activities, etc... How you're creating this amazing art in the midst of it all is impressive. Bravo lady!
Thank you so so much!!! Rupert is pretty big too lol I am thinking a Puxer too lol đ Stanley wasnât out there but we got him too and he is small and cute :)
Your timing is impeccable. I have a side board ready to paint. I painted my dining chairs all the colours youâve used. Perfect to use up my colours I have left. Iâve been undecided as to what to colour to paint it. Aged white seemed the sensible thing.
Then I click on this. Omygoodness I love it. Itâs an old sideboard not in the best condition so Iâm going for it. If all fails Iâll paint it white lol.
ANDâŠyou look after youâŠself care is something I struggle with but geez, it makes a difference when you allocate a set day or time each week. đ
Gorgeous piece! Love your experiments and their results. I've missed watching you, but do understand. Take the time you need. Just know you have followers that care about you, and will still be there when you are ready to share.
This piece turned out wonderful and I am so glad it helped to bring you some peace, creativity, and inspiration. It reminds me of a sherbet rainbow! I wish you all well as you get adjusted to the changes and transitions of the past few months. Moving in and of itself is a task. Adding in that you moved overseas, have children to settle, pets, a business, etc. No wonder you needed to take some time, girl. Your followers support you and love you. Take care.
13:43 I hope you feel more at home there soon, so you can let your creativity flow again. I always love your creations, you inspire me!!
That mini food processor is genius for mixing milk paint!! I love your work so much and you are great inspiration, thank you for always sharing and spreading creativity đâđŒ.
Itâs makes it so soooo easy and blends it better than by hand!!! And thank you so much!!!!!
this piece is stunning! good to see you back in these bright colors again. take care. you guys had a lot on your plate. take all the time you need to come back. love your work
Well sh.t... I understand what you're saying. We lost our dog 18 months and I still grieve him daily. Rupert and Stanley are adorable and I'm sure they are eating up all the love you guys are sharing with them. I have missed you on here. But we are here when you're ready. But hell you can't tell you're missing a beat with your art though. Everything you create is awesome. This had to be fun creating the paint and kind of starting from scratch.
I did wonder where you have been, but I knew you were planning to move to Maine, sorry to hear about the loss of Cannon, congratulations on your new pups. The bones of this pretty armoire will still be under the new paint for a possible change in the future, so itâs all good! Happy to see you back on here!
love love love it! Such a happy fun piece! I've missed watching you create, but appreciate the need for self-care! Be well
Thank you so much!
I love this piece and I'm glad it helped you to get back into the swing of thing! I always enjoy watching you paint and enjoy everything you teach us. It is so calming to watch you create. Thank you for all you do!
Thank you so much!! You are too good to me â€ïžâ€ïžâ€ïž

@@BellaRenovare I lost my husband a year ago and 2 months later I lost my little schnauzer (my roommate)and the depression sat in. I found your platform and by watching you, you gave me a new sense of self worth. I started painting with your very good instructions and you are the one that has brought me forward and learning a new skill. I have watched a lot of your videos and your sweet laughter and positive personality has really taught me a lot! Keep your head up because you are such an inspiration to everyone â€ïž

I love the end results of your pieces
It does blow my mind - the layering. My mind gets it but at the same time I get very confused - cause I see a colour that you use and think ohh, I love that, but by the time youâve finished, you canât see that colour at all đłđł
Keep doing what you need to do to be creative đđ
Love your art!
I'm reminded of barbie fairytopia magic of the rainbow movie, with all these colors â€đ

I love color! Your pieces are beautiful! I just got a gallon of pink paint, at Lowes, that someone didn't like. I've been thrifting some nice little pieces and am excited to start playing with painting them. Glad to have found your channel.
So gorgeous and love the soft perfect color choices. â€

This piece is so pretty! I love the colors
Such a gorgeous piece. â€
Welcome back. Hi Rupert. đ
Hello there!
Just stunning, missed you glad your back.
WOW! You are my fave Furniture Artist! For some reason, watching you work your magic on this particular piece has made me cry tears of joy. There is something about you working this piece that has made me flashback to a wonderful memory, for a change, from my childhood, which is a rare occurrence. The colors and process you use in painting reminds me of being able to freely paint on everything as a child. THANK YOU! And no worries⊠I look forward to your videos and your health is more important than everything else. B~}
Thank you so so much. I think this piece was very emotional for me because right before this I sat on the floor and cried because I felt like my creativity was gone, so I gave myself permission to not even think on this piece, it was super helpful :)
@@BellaRenovare You are so very welcome! Thank you for sharing your heart. Iâm inspired by your strength to power through the hurdles of life. Prayers. B~}
Such a delightful creator you are. Your colour imagination is endless. Very therapeutic. Iâve missed seeing your pieces. All the best in finding yourself back and look forward to your next creative piece. Your new pup is just gorgeous. I just love him đžđ
Spectacular!

Gorgeous!!! Love watching your videos. đ
This was absolutely fascinating to watch! You are amazing.
Crys'Dawna... I use an immersion blender to mix my milk paint. Works like a charm and I think it was $8 off of Amazon đâ€
Yesssss I can never get all the chunks by hand!
@@BellaRenovare I promise it will work wonders đâ€ïž
Love it! Such a Happy piece. Great Job.â€

I hope so too! Thank you so so much â€ïžâ€ïž
This piece turned out beautifully. I am so envious of your talent.
It is important to take time for yourself. Do things you enjoy to fill your spirit. You have to do that so you have something to give to others.
Thank you so much! I definitely needed to take a step back
Gorgeous. â€
Thank you! đ
Geez Crys'Dawna...moving a mile away is stressful. And you moved continents. We all give you grace to decompress from that. So many changes, adjustments, growing pains. We are just happy when you can share your art with us. Such as today....the color story is so Zen. Such a beautiful piece to greet you when walk in the door. My deepest sympathies on the loss of Cannon. That's heartbreaking. Happy to see you have a new cohort. It helps the grieving process I think.
Thank you fir the tips! This piece is gorgeous đđđ
I love it! You are so inspiring and talentedâŠ. Iâve taken a break as well and about to get back into it so I appreciate you being so open about your process and Iâm excited to start painting again⊠thank you for being youâŠ

Brava..... Ăš sempre un piacere vederti
Thank you so so much â€ïžâ€ïžâ€ïžâ€ïž
Love this â€I always adore your colourful piecesđ©”đ©·đ
For those who freak out over it being painted, it's wood. It can be stripped and re-finished. I love natural wood furniture and I love painted furniture as well. One of my favorite things is to find a piece that's been painted and spend my time stripping it and "bringing it back". Another one of my favorite things is finding a piece and painting it to look however I want it to look.
Beautiful piece. I love it!
Very pretty!!
