Being that Iâm a power person. Iâm Jessie allll the way. But we have to consider that they both sing different styles. With that being said, I believe that Jessie can sing all of Tori songs but Tori canât sing all of Jessieâs songs.
While I understand what you're saying, I do think that there are some Tori songs that Jessie would struggle to sing (like Don't You Worry Bout A Thing, Language, Joy To The World/Joyful Joyful), just as there are some Jessie J songs that Tori would struggle to sing (like Thunder, Mamma Knows Best, Not My Ex). While I agree Tori's musicality is better, Jessie's has actually improved a LOT over the last few years, I recommend checking out her performances on Singer 2018, her musicality on that show was amazing!
In my opinion: *Low notes* : thereâs no comparison. Tori stays connected and full till the bottom, while Jessie gets airy and lowers her larynx a lot. Itâs Tori for me. *Mid belts* : they kinda have the same approach, maybe Iâd choose Tori just because her vibrato sounds slightly better to me. So for me Tori wins this one too. *Mixed/upper belts* : I personally prefer Jessieâs lighter approach, Tori sounds too chesty imo. But I have to say sheâs improved A LOT in this area, those recent crazy high belts prove this. But still I feel like I have to give this one to Jessie. *Head voice* : Not their best register for sure, both sound kind of basic. I mean, except for their runs, they donât display any type of dynamics in this area of their voice. I guess itâs a tie for me. *Whistle register* : They both donât use it a lot, Jessieâs whistles sound a bit scratchy to me. Tie/Tori for me. Final consideration: two amazing singers. Amazing video!

For the mid belts, Toriâs technique is immaculate, but I prefer Jessie all the way up to D5 idk why lol
Upper belts are kinda strained, in particular I donât enjoy Toriâs chestiness up there.
I like both their head voices and whistles, but I prefer Toriâs clear tone on the whistles.
Two amazing vocalists â€
Tori is the Queen! Period! Jessie is a gift đ
2:47 - 2:54 I need the name of that song and where can find the live performance
Morressitte Amon dominate all.. listen to just one song..rise up..
I just see two bada** queens doing they own thing.
Such a shame that I forgot such a phenomenal of an artist Jessie is. Thanks for reminding me. Now I should immediately go and listen to her music again.
with immediate effect!
She's incredible, I'm so glad that I was able to remind you of her! đ
4:50 please, which perofmance/song is it?
The song is 'Coffee' by Tori Kelly. Here's the link to the performance! czcams.com/video/GQNn_NZRwHU/video.html
They belong to the same tier, I would say. Jessie is the stronger vocalist, has a better tone and more depth and texture, but Tori is amazing too and has a lot of musicality.
But this is to be expected considering their voices and styles are different!
@@dancanvocals this gotta be a joke. Jessie J can def pull off âDonât you worry bout a thingâ but Tori wouldnât be able to sing âMamma knows bestâ
Lol you must not have heard tori Iive I think tori can but in her own way not like jessie of course because they have their own sounding but the girl is so skilled believe me when I tell you she'll find away. If she can sing Mariah songs during her quartine videos live on youtube she can sing Jessie j.
@@shandyanshan8876 I don't know about that as skilled as tori is I think she can don't underestimate herđ„Žđ I'm telling you the girl will find away she's just too goodđđ€Ł
@@alexandraanderson3988 oh trust me I know how skilled that woman is. Iâm saying if we are not changing anything and we switch their songs I feel like Jessie can easily and beautifully sing all of Tori songs but Tori canât do that with most of Jessieâs songs. But then again these are two very different styles of singing.
Ok but tori on A5 and higher isnât mixing just using masked head voice
Exactly like Tori has yet to go over G#5 her mix is still too chesty
@@MJL-md7jc that doesnt make sense, she Literally mixed a B5, and mix and chest voice are two different things
@@christiancolo7768 everybody uses mixed voice in the 5th octave they're just 3 different types of mixed voice heady mix, balanced mix, and chesty mix Tori just happens to have a chesty mix
@@MJL-md7jc You're still wrong. Repeating the same nonsensical BS as usual. You really pretend that you know what you're talking about but you don't.

Love them both so much.â„ïžâ„ïž However, itâs Tori for me, #FOREVER â„ïž l love her tone soooo much, itâs so beautiful, soothing, soft, angelic and enjoyable to hear, to play, and to listen to. Itâs so powerful too.â„ïžâ„ïžâ„ïžâ„ïžâ„ïž Sheâs an INCREDIBLE vocalist, songwriter, dancer, performer and guitarist too.â„ïžâ„ïž ILYSM Tori!â„ïžâ„ïž

Jessie J for me
I think Tori J won
Jessi is great but unfortunately, her tone and vibrato isn't.
She can sound like a wailing banshee at times.
Jessie has a better technique and power in her voice. Tory has it too but her voice lacks power and becomes think most of the time
Ummm.... Tori does NOT lack power!
Tori is obviously queen because of her musicality and dynamics. She can sing in all tones and sings all genres. Jessie is good donât get me wrong, but she really over does her songs with trying to make it sound her own or her runs. Itâs all too much, but her belts are amazing!
While I agree Tori's musicality is better, Jessie's has actually improved a LOT over the last few years, I recommend checking out her performances on Singer 2018, her musicality on that show was amazing!
@@dancanvocals her belts and resonance on defying gravity still makes me get goosebumps

Agility-Tori(not by much)
Overall-Tori(just)
In my opinion:
*Low notes* : thereâs no comparison.
You sure about Toriâs head voice lol?
Head voice goes to Tori for sure.
Tori uses a lot of masked head voice, it's not a basic technique.
@@tiktokcompilations7934 while her head voice is commendable, mask-placed head voice isnât really a thing lol
Tori's head voice is actually good đ
