The beauty of MMA, it’s not enough to be the best in one art. You have to be lethal in at least a couple of other martial arts types to succeed. GSP, Spider, Khabib, Jones, Dj etc have mastered it all. The goats
As a khabib fan he cant really be compared to the likes of gsp spider because he isnt a master mma mostly grappling gsp really is the goat dude was great at everything, also khabib hasnt really been tested, doesnt matter if he has no losses, fedor is regarded as goat despite losses simply cuz he fought everyone
(jones while talented, unfortunately drugs eye pokes and has lost plenty fight like reyes so he is not of goat status)
Khabib is so incredibly good at essentially 3 things. 1. Wrestling we all know this. You can't beat khabib here. But the other two are 2. Relentlessness, he keeps coming at you and will break you down until he just imposes his will on you. 3. Toughness. He's been able to take some hard shots and make it look like it was nothing. As well as power his way out of a pretty good guillotine by Poirier.
With those things he's been able to bully and overpower everyone that he has fought.
Jones - The art of dodging suspensions while clearly failing every drug test within 100 miles. Truly the goat of cheating. Honestly kind of hoping he just retires so I don't have to hear about that fucking scumbag ever again. Alternatively he takes the fight with Francis and just gets mauled in the octagon.

I know it was very early days of UFC but Royce Gracie literally paved the way for Jiu-Jitsu. Dude is one of the best grapplers to ever walk the planet.
Giving Royce a shout out based of respect for laying the groundwork is commendable but i cannot truly say he is one of the best grapplers to ever walk the planet. If you need to mention the Gracie's as being the best to ever do it and want to reference Royce then im sure you know Rickson was the true beast of the family and owned Royce hands down, Royce was sent especially because he was everything they wanted the opponent to see a not that tall slim build man wearing a gi and underestimate him. It was a masterstroke to put the art on the world radar for damned sure but my point here was that even the Gracies admit Royce simply wasnt the best amongst them.

This takes nothing away from Royce who uses still one of the most dominant fighters in the world, not to mention the octagon.
Tons of grapplers never hit the UFC, many could have bet Royce but he was still insanely dominant.

he was very skillful. Probably the most loved by me in terms of body appearance and the way he kicks. However he isnt smart enough in terms of timing, doesnt have endurance, and isnt able to fight on the ground.
