    That's a really good adaptation. Normaly people, when trasnposing vocal lines, play that bunch of repeated notes that people do when singing. And when you do, you make it more interesting with sttacato or grace notes.

    The low-whistle sounds especially nice, and I like the way you included the vocal parts in the instrumental which is what is needed with this song. Imagine something like this playing in a forest in Skyrim. You would be transfixed by its beauty, drawn to it like a spell. Absolutely haunting.

      @@dorkmax7073 There was. I think they've all died by now, though. _If the one I remember is correct (was real) there are no records of it that I could find... it was pre-internet. However, there are two or three of them now. One established in the 90s, one in Australia that changed the "g" to an "x," and one in China that has the word "Krith" in front of the word "Nazgul." Life gets weirder the longer you live...

    This is actually the song my husband and I had chosen for our wedding. Unfortunately because of covid we couldn't have the big wedding we wanted so we couldn't dance to this song. We are hoping to have a vow renewal in 2026 and dance to Nothing Else Matters. I actually would LOVE to learn a medieval dance and use this version.

      I haven't been a member in so long that I'm not sure if they still exist, but look up The Society for Creative Anachronism. I joined when I was in college in the '70's, and we danced to medieval music. If they're still around, maybe they can help you.

    I find most of the "bardcore" a hit and miss, but your Medieval Style covers/music have a clean 100% hit rate.
    Synthetic music can't stand up to this level of skill.

      Synthetizer music can be fantastic, but synthetizer instruments very often fail horribly to sound like the real deal and end up feeling oddly uncanny valleyish.
      That said, I'm going to fully agree about this guy's videos being some of the best bardcore videos out there.

      midi composed arrangements CAN sound good if you put in the effort, use good samples, and adjust the quantization to be less rigid. This takes time, though.

      I have tried a couple of the electronic 'medieval' songs and I prefer the ones like this that use real instruments. Many of the midi produced tracks sound too much like either modern EDM tracks or like a Casio demo song.
