Si bro I remember growing up in Dundee in the 90s/00s (33 yr old in jan)and the name on everyone's lips who was gonna make it big was SI FERRY (I was at united at the time, like you I made horrendous decisions and fucked it up) and your ability and talent was un matched by anyone from our generation even garry Kenneth and Scott Robertson but I always wondered about your attitude at the time!(even when we was that young) and after watching this and seeing how the lads doing what you done affected you shows me you HAVE learned and you WILL go far in the game now.... my advice is don't be toooo hard on yourself and don't get caught up in matters that take yous awa from the football side of things - if somethings needed discussed do it somewhere outwith football and leave it all out there--
I used to hate being on a pitch and lads discussing bebo and nights out and whatever ..... we always got told switch on to football as soon as you cross that white line and forget everything else exists until the final whistle - plenty time to speak bebo and that after football

Brilliant episode. Everyone is far too reactive though. I get you want instant success but itâs a group of guys that barely know each other, flung together and expecting instant success. Football at any level doesnât work like that.
How long will it take slaney to get fit there's guys older than him playing in the world cup bale is slaneys age and he plays golf and the odd game in the MLS but can still play 90min valderama was about 50 strolling it in America I play 7s with boys from my work in a League it's 60 min but still and I'm 34 now and I work 50 hours aweek and train judo that's my passion found that at 21 fell in love but slaneys had a year to get fit he's struggling after 30mins but 40yr olds are fit enough to play doesn't make sense
