Great info*! Thanks 👍. I'm 2 months new with Movavi. Lots of trial and error with pleasant surprises. Lots of frustration when you're deep into your project and one wrong click can screw it all up. So, I have a love/hate relationship with Movavi. The love is stronger and keeps me seeking the hidden treasures. Not All Tutorials Are Created Equal!!! Yours are very easy to follow. Awe man!…. Being able to remove those stupid guidelines when you need to is brilliant. Thanks for that training! good stuff!…. And! That arrow strike out by removing the gaps, freaking brilliant. I never knew that existed and I’ve been pulling my hair out on a couple of videos because it snaps to the incorrect place. Now I can go back and repair a couple of my videos that I’ve been working on. You rock!!

Great video, very clear and easy to follow.
Not sure if you take requests but I’ve been having lagging issues when editing, my videos are normally 20 plus minutes with lots of clips. Is there a setting to help with this? I’ve done the emptying of my recycle bin, that was helping but now the lagging is just to the point where I’m shopping around for new a new video editing software. I love Movavi, I’m hoping this is just a setting I’ve missed. TIA

If you have not tried this yet. Go to the settings tab, then to preferences, and under acceleration, make sure the box next to optimize HD clips is checked! I know this one has helped others in the past. Let me know if it helps! I might have a few other suggestions if not.

Hey Fawn, again love your videos they are very helpful in my journey. Question? When color grading my video clips I find it a pain to do all the work on a clip and then have to go through all the same steps to do the next clip especially when I'm using the same color grade over and over. Do you have a short cut for applying the same color grade to multiple clips?
Hi, thanks for asking! First, try highlighting all of your clips at once. You can do this a couple ways. One quick way is by "drag selecting" (left click and drag that little rectangle frame over multiple clips to highlight them all at once). Another way is by clicking each clip individually, just be sure to hold down the "control key" on your keyboard while selecting the clips for your batch. Once you have them highlighted, begin your color adjustments! Hope this helps🙂

Yeah, I believe in that video I was using the Rode VideoMic NTG. I leave a list of my main editing and video making equipment down in my video descriptions.

Yeah, they are always moving stuff around lol. Try checking right around the center of your screen, right above the timeline, and below the preview window.

hi hope you are doing well. How to add a very thick/bold outline to text? And like to change the colour and boldness of the text - HOW?
Hi! So by double clicking on your text clip, you'll be brought to "Clip Editing". Then at the top be sure to have "Text" selected, and in this tool window, if you scroll down to the bottom you'll find "Outline". Check the box next to it, and choose a color. After selecting a color, to the right of that select 1 of the 4 thickness options. Hope this helps! 😀 Oh and if you choose the largest/thickest outline, and that's still not enough for the look you'd like, let me know and I can explain how to make that outline even bigger. But what about closing gaps for music and audio, rather than video? How does one do that?
For now, only the main video track snaps back, but if you attach your audio to the main track, then it will all snap back together!
Sometimes if I have nothing in my main video track, I will just place a background in there, so that I have something to attach my audio to. But in that scenario, just remember if you are chopping up the audio, you will also have to chop the video track at the same time.

Knock-Knock Fawn! HELP! You're my guide! My audio is fine. My video lags. It's not the file. I tested it in another video editor (which I don't like) and it is just fine. How can I fix this in my preferred choice Movavi? Please 🥺/Thanks 👍

Hey!
There's a few things I'd recommend..
1. Be sure you've enabled "Optimize HD clips". You can find this by clicking settings > preferences > acceleration > Optimize HD clips ✅️
2. Be sure you're editing in low resolution preview. You can find this by clicking Playback (located right next to "settings" in the upper left) then at the bottom check to make sure "High-Res preview" is turned off or unchecked.

You can also check the box for hardware acceleration if avilable, this is located just above where you found the optimize hd clips box.
Next I'd suggest saving what you need to, closing the program, and restarting you're computer.
If still lagging, I'd try testing the file separately, by opening a new Movavi project and dropping that file in and see how it performs.
I've had a situation similar in the past where I literally just had to copy and paste my entire project into a new movavi project and it ran smooth again. So figured it was worth mentioning..

hmmm 🤔 this is not doing it. My system is not equipped to use the enable feature. I tried the other things and even started from scratch. This is a first of many quirks. Most are Mine 😂. Some is or might be my system. This is one of the reasons why I answer "not right now" when I exit Movavi's quick survey. I'm hopeful and your helpful. I'll let you know When I figure it out. It's for a friend. It matters.🦋
p.s. - A very important selling feature of Movavi for people like me. If I only knew I'd be making movies 😅. Movavi has most and more features than others when looking for a quality video editor. I did a Lot of research. Movavi requires much less RAM than most. Sell it Fawn! You make great videos!!!🦋

I have four questions : Can you do a video based on these matter ?
1)After we edited the clip and Export, It ask if we want to save , so I save it . Where will the video save in Movavi ? Does it affect the space if we save every videos when we bring them in to Movavi Editor Plus ?
1) Do you recommend to publish a video straight to CZcams after We finished edit it ?
3) How can I save certain words that I already chose the font and format the way I like (Ex: Wow ! Awesome ! ). So that I can insert them to use again in some other videos ?
4)I want to use just Bing Photos to make a video . I know about the slideshows (People can tell that they are photos put together). Is there a way to make them look live ? I guess We must mixed the Live clip with the photo . Don't you think so?

I'd recommend for any project that you are working on, that you create a folder on your computer and save EVERYTHING in it. Everything means, your images, footage, pngs, audio, your finished/exported video, AND your project file... EVERYTHING, keep it all in one place... and if it's important to you, save that folder in more than one place, like on an external hard drive, just incase sonething happens, then youll have a backup copy.😉
For text, yes you can save. When your creating your text, click on new preset tab and you can create a custom name and save.
Don't publish straight to CZcams. Save everything properly first, as mentioned above, and then upload your video when you are ready.

Yes, you do have to pay for Movavi's software. If you'd like to TRY IT OUT FOR FREE, you can download their free version. However, the free version will have some kind of watermark until upgrading to the paid version. Often times, they have pretty good sales going on.
