TRANSFER FILES TO INSTAGRAM:
Now to make sure you are uploading the best quality video possible, let head back into the Instagram app! (PhoneScreen recording)
Then we’ll click on these three little bars at the top right of your profile page and go to settings. From here let’s select accounts, then head down to data usage. Now all we need to do is make sure this option right here that says high quality uploads is on! & that’s it!
If you want to use a viral sound/song from Instagram to edit your reel to, but can’t find it. Play the song on Instagram and record it with your mic, bring that recording into your Movavi timeline and then begin the editing process. The audio quality will be bad but we just need it to edit our photos to. Once we bring our reel into Instagram we can discard the audio track and use the original straight from Instagram.

It sounds like a codec issue, but I haven’t run into problem my self. So I would suggest contacting Movavi, they are usually pretty helpful! Here is a link to their support page.

You could check out this video, I use a similar technique to create this. Then you would just need to add animation if you want the shape to move. I have a video on animation too.

A simpler option would be to just use the Picture in Picture feature. But animation cannot be applied to this.

Hi! By filter, are you referring to adding color filters on the videos or are you meaning filter in the organizational sense?
@@fawnmyra Sorry, I mean organizational sense😇.
I use Movavi "Unlimited". This comes with "Quick Video", which I think is very similar to "Slideshow Maker", if not the exact same thing.
With that said, when I open up the program, I see that there are 3 "Sort" options (by name, by date, and random). You can also easily rearrange and delete clips in the import gallery!

Amazing tip... But i have one question... In Reels, for make a viral video, people use the audios from instagram to make de algorithm help deliver the video for other people... Find the song on instagram that you'd like to edit your video to. Then screen record that song on instagram using Movavi screen recorder if you have it, or obs is another option which is free.
Bring that Instagram music screen recording into Movavi and edit your video to the music. Timing is very important. Then you can mute the volume and export your video. Bring your video into Instagram and apply that song and make sure your timing is perfect.
Hopefully that makes sense. Give it a try!🙂
thank you for this great tutorial!, I have a question: how to blur the black bands when you don't have the right format and you want to post on Instagram? We filmed with camera, transformed by exporting for insta and there are obviously still the 2 black bands... how to put the original video behind and blurred?, I think we call that a Gaussian effect... the 2 black bars are horizontal not vertical, (and sorry if english not good, not my language) Thanks a lot!

Here is the method I use. I first export my video, then I transfer my video to my phone by plugging my phone into my computer. Then I just uploaded my video that is now on my camera roll, right to the Instagram app.

Usually things will not look very good while editing, this is normal. After export and depending on your export settings, the quality will be back to normal.

Thanks for your video - I have subscribed. I am having trouble with the aspect ratio though. I have changed it to 9:16 as you suggest. But when I post the edited video to Instagram Reel , my video image is tiny - there is space on both side and the top and bottom. The video image is a vertical rectangle tough. I am using the free version - I don't want to purchase it if I cant make it work on Instagram. Any suggestions? or is this a problem with the trial version?

What aspect ratio is your original footage, was it shot vertically?

@@fawnmyra So it seems that if I export the video directly to google drive, then it is saved with all kinds of space around it. If I export it to the Movavi folder first and then upload it from my computer to Google Drive, then I see only the video image when I upload it to Instagram. I wonder if this is a glitch in the trial version. There is also no "apply" button on the crop and rotation page in the trial version.
