I was telling my son about an area I wanted to retire. He responds back (we were texting) with oh that’s a good area… there are 5 exit routes out of that area! I was seriously… he is more of a Prepper than I thought!
Nice video, Steve. Thanks for sharing your faith, too. Person never realizes the value, the PEACE that comes from having a relationship/friendship with Jesus and the path He can cut when the trail ends and trouble begins. Love to you and family, brother.
@@gregrobertson9957 Back at ya, Greg.
I'm in Central Florida. Not a good place for SHTF. We're over crowded and only a few ways out. I maintain the means to leave, but it depends on what the circumstances are. The most plausible situation would be a cyber attack. If that took our grid down, we'd have gridlock on the highways. I've seen before where people polluted the highways from Florida on up into Georgia. The Hurricane wasn't near as bad as they made it out to be, but now there were thousands of stranded refugees. Our 22 million residents will turn the Sunshine state into a cesspool within the 1st week. I have backups for backups, but don't want to be a refugee unless it's the last resort. Looking forward to your new book Steve. I've got a new highlighter ready. Just like with my Holy Bible I mark up my preparedness Bible as well. Have a blessed day brother!
@@nickroggio1891 Thanks, Nick. You too.👍🏻
I am in Florida too, but more rural, going further deeper into rural Florida would work fine. We have a group and a place so we would be OK. Heading toward Alabama would be easier than trying to get to Georgia.❤
Used to go geocaching quite often. Good physical and mental exercise locating GPS/cache locations.
We are still learning about the back country here in our new home in Idaho. Maps and atlas’s of our area were one of the first things I got as I didn’t want to rely on electronics to find my way around.
All good advice in this video. Thanks Steve.

Very sensible advice as usual Steve. Really looking forward to reading the next installment. God bless the work

Cme... if cars are dead on the road ... and roads are impossible, a bicycle , rollerblades, skateboard, but no one is moving anywhere fast if this occurs but to have rollerblades and a bicycle or a skateboard or what is that skateboard that has that pole that you hold on to? LOL anything that helps you to move faster than the dead cars on the road. Always keep things like this in your cars just in case....i even saw sneakers that with a click, out come back wheels to maneuver about LoL. Be ready for anything while on the road
Miss these videos
Great advice, steve.

We just always thought we would hunker down at home no matter what... We have goats, chickens, ducks, turkeys and kune kunes and our trailer is not big enough to take them all, we are rural, and we don't have severe nat disasters... And lastly, we don't have any where to go... 😳 Thinking we should find a place... And make a plan for getting there if we ever need to. 👍

Tell ‘em to get a life!!!

Must be well planned
SUV’s are great but Toyota Sienna’s are where it’s at 💯
Those are great vehicles with a lot of room and good gas mileage, but not as rugged, as much ground clearance or as much space as a large SUV.
@@integrativepreparedness9427 off the lot, you’re correct. I’ve had to lift 2”, beef up the suspension, and add over landing wheels/tires. AWD is a noce feature for all of the snow and ice we get. The TNGA-K frame actually has a higher load capacity than the Tundra.
Interior room is actually quite solid. The collapsible 3rd row and removable 2nd row captain seats allow the Sienna to fit full 4x8’ sheet rock/plywood, 8’ 2x4’s, and up the center can fit 10’ 2x4’s.
Never-say-never, but I don’t think I’ll ever own anything besides a Sienna again 😂
I have a 2000 7.3 4x4 excursion.
Butter in coffee? I LOVE BOTH! About how much butter do you use is a typical cup, if you don’t mind me asking? I gotta try this. PS - Lovin’ the series. Thanks!
I use about 1 ounce (a normal pat), but test to your taste. Glad you're enjoying the series!
Buttah and coc oil...
@@integrativepreparedness9427 Thanks!
Mic sounds good. Just get a dead cat for the wind. Wind screen.

The feature is the creatures!😂
Any tips on good maps showing side roads when you have no choice, but to take a path that isn't planned to either get through an area you see is now a no go (at the time of SHTF) ? I have an up to date Atlas, State maps and certain closer maps, but am having difficulty deciding where and how to get closer street maps like towns so if we do get diverted from various planned routes with no GPS, we don't find ourselves in a bad situation. The only way I'm aware of currently would have me printing a large book. Thanks in advance! My husband just had a big trauma and I'm trying to finish things out on my own in a new state.
Google maps and MapQuest will get you down to neighborhood/back roads areas. Print out separate sections and put them in a binder. Laminating them will hhelp protect them.
Do you send the total amount of you books from your website to Canada ???
@@neileldridge6398 Sorry, I'm afraid not. The postage is astronomical.

Ok, thanks!! Like reading these types of books. I know yours will show a different perspective on things.

Maybe Kindle or Audiobook ?
