- *I am not actually pregnant right now- no more babies planned over here*
I know it can be really confusing to see how to wear when you can't actually visualize a belly, so I got one! Hopefully this will give you a clear idea of different ways to wear while pregnant. With my first, I didn't wear nearly as much while pregnant because I didn't know you could. There are so many great options and you can wear most carrier types while pregnant, but different people are going to find different options more comfortable than others.
This style carrier was the most comfortable for me during the second and third trimester, I had the most discomfort wearing during my first trimester. Even the slightest pressure on my non-existent bump made me nauseated. For the first trimester, I much preferred an Onbuhimo or woven wrap. I will be showing some of those as well! But, that can also give you a little reassurance that just because wearing does not work for you and one trimester doesn't mean that it won't in another.
You do not have to wear during your pregnancy! There are so many other options if it just does not work for your body. There is no shame in that!
I dealt with significant hip and sciatic pain during my pregnancies but chose to push through the pain even if it left me crawling up the stairs at the end of the night. I found I was in tremendous pain whether I wore or not, so I chose to continue wearing so we could do the things I wanted to do (this type of carrier was best). That wasn't necessarily the best choice for me physically, but helped me tremendously mentally (getting out for hikes made me feel so much better mentally)- listen to your body (& doctor) and do what you need to do for you!
This was also far better on my bladder & pelvic floor in general while pregnant, the weight with an apron style carrier doesn't push down in the same way that a general soft structure carrier does. It's a reason these can be really great postpartum as well!
Here I am using the half buckle by @oschaslings
Have you worn your kiddos through a pregnancy? What type of carrier was your favorite if you did?

Aww so beautiful ❤️ I have a 6-month old daughter who I've worn a lot! It's wonderful to see that there are so many options for whenever we have another little one and want to carry her still!
It can be so nice when you have them close together or you have a toddler that just needs a little extra cuddle during your next pregnancy 🥰
Women are amazing !
You are such a cute Prego!! I love the way you say Across (Acrost) lol 🥰
Also, what carrier do you feel is best to use to wear the newborn and toddler at the same time? Thank you again.
Can you link that carrier? My baby will be one this month and I am due first week in August. I was using an ergo but had to stop because of it not being comfortable anymore. I like wearing him and wanted to try that style. Thank you!
이런 아기끈이 있군요
여기는 어느나라인가요.
한국에도 비슷한 포대기가 있어요.
정말 편해 보여요.
What is this carrier brand? :)
It’s looks like at the bottom of the video it says meh dai/half buckle. She also mentions brand osha in video. I assume that’s it.
It's an Oscha Slings Cairis carrier- their version of a half buckle 💗
@@letstalkbabywearing oh I didnt hear you say the brand! Thank you!
I was uncomfortable the instant she tied a tight band across the knot in her t-shirt, pressing the knot into her flesh.
Nice
I love you
