I have to be honest. I'm not into musicals very much. But i'm sure into Lucy Thomas singingskills and voice. She is up there with the very best. No doubt about it. Masterclass singer. Thank you for posting this. Cheers from a finn in Sweden .

Hello Zooty, thank you for your lovely reaction to Lucy singing " We Can Change The World " live at her Manchester concert last March. Like you I am a bit fed up with " Rosie " the musical start date, the powers to be say there will be a showcase concert sometime in the Fall & the musical will open in early 2025 in London. I do not believe a word they say heard it all before, Lucy would be better off sticking to doing Live concerts all over the World. Especially the USA most of her followers are American, they apprecite good music. Take care Barbara.

Thanks for your reaction brother. You are correct in saying that musicals require a huge commitment of time. Which is a real concern for a lot of us who follow her very closely and have followed for years. This could conceivably stunt the growth of her career, since musicals only appeal to a very small demographic.

Quite the performer live on stage. Lucy was born to do this sort of vocal work. We are promised a Showcase Concert of the music from this show later this year and then hopefully the show will go live on London’s West End early next year. Thanks Zooty for your ongoing support today this amazingly talented young lady with a heart of gold (I know this from personal experience).

Thanks Zooty! Her LIVE voice has been sensational in the releases to date. This is yet another example of that. Her studio release have always been beautiful - but to sound this good live is head shaking. Check out "At Last" live from Manchester when you can - if you like the Eta James classic original - you will love this.

Hi Zooty. The reason there's no set date fir the opening of the Musical is they are having to wait for shows to finish their runs they are in discussions with Theatres. It was Originally planned to go live in the West End in 2019 but obviously had to be cancelled and since then other pre booked shows have had their airings and Chris and Lucy have had to wait for any potential dates to come available. They have also had to wait for Will to finish his stint In both the west end and Nationwide touring shows of Les Mis.

There will be a stage concert of the music from Rosie this fall in London. The actual musical will be on London’s West End next year. A specific date has not yet been announced.

Hey Zooty thanks supporting Lucy. This song I’m sure will have more meaning when the full production of the musical “Rosie” comes to life. I don’t know when that will be. I know she will be live again in Tokyo in concert this September. Stay safe, healthy, and free.

This original song written by Chris Broom is brought to life by Lucy. Lucy demonstrates the power of her stage voice and presence. The talented and award winning Chris Broom is the producer and creator of the upcoming musical "Rosie".

Zooty, you didn't give a reaction to the song, I'm guessing you didn't find it too impressive. If so, I agree with you, I find most of the songs from 'Rosie' quite bland, for want of a better word. Like you I am a big fan of Lucy though, she is truly incredible.

It has to be remembered that musical songs are always telling a story and are not always popular. Your correct you either like them or find them quite boring I personally love them .
