She did great, she's willing to learn. That's what counts. She'll make a great farmer before you know it.. love your big tractor
Thanks 👍
Avery, my hats off to you. You have the patience of a saint.
She’ll be great at driving it soon
@@NewAgeCustomFarming The fact she's willing to learn is great. She'll do fine once she hears all the ticks, pops and all the noises you get used to.
I think she did really well for her first time. Just remember you probably started doing this kind of work when you were only 8 or 10 and on very much equipment. You will make her a farmer yet.
Right!
Love the your welcome comment 😂
😂😂
Years ago l use to watch the 3 stooges. They have nothing over you all making me laugh. Thank you for showing there can be pleasure in hard work.
Thanks 😂
Well done Emily. You will be soon very familiar with that machine. Keep at it. Love watching your videos. New Zealand wheat farmer Steve 😊
Fingers crossed!
Awesome Avery he had that ready!! That's what I was thinking tooo!!
😂😂
I enjoy your vids. Im old and your vids take me back in many ways. We sold the farm and bought a small place in N WI near lakes where I continue the timber tract living I got used to and fishing. I love your big farm stuff.
Thanks for watching!
You did good girl
We all been there , it's really good that you are doing it
Thanks!
" You're welcome" Excellent.
😂
Been there done that, getting rocks stuck in rolling baskets and plowing up a huge mound and not catching the auto steer line both! Happens to everyone, and if it didn't he wouldn't have known so easily!!
Right!
Teamwork makes the dream work good job kids!
Thanks!
Nice garden tractor for sure. Saves lots of time. ❤😊
We have used our amazone for 15 years works great! Corn stalks chop better in the cold! Try that!
Good to know!
11;22 ,guess we owe you a Thank You!! 😋
What?? Ha ha ha
Yes you do
I think you need to get her a little 4 or 6 row planter then she could plant her own sweet corn.
Stay tuned..
Thanks Emily!!
Your doing Good!! It takes A Lot Of Practice To Make A Excellent Operator!!
Keep Smiling On!!
😅👍👊❤️
Thank you! Will do!
Try using the raise and lower on the multi function handle. It is really handy when you get use to it. Make sure you have the timer turned on for remote one or it won't work.
Thanks!
The Yee-Haw we’re farming baby! Sold it for me. Academy award winning moment 😂
Yee haw mother fuckers lets rock you're to old to Kid to soft to Rock
😂😂😂
Just found your channel today; before I saw your bio, I figured you both are in Wisconsin, especially when you showed us a can of Sun Drop! Don't worry, you'll be a pro in no time! Greetings from Genoa City, WI.! Hope you have good yields in all of your fields!
Yes thank you!
You can't blame a girl for wanting to learn.
We don’t
I am thinking a 40-60 hp tractor so it is easier to control. Props to her, she is open to learning.
That's one big garden tractor 😂
You got that right!
I drove truck for close to 40 years and i enjoyed it and I've helped a friend of mine driving tractors disking and plowing and that was even nicer than driving truck because there wasn't anyone to bother you.
😂😂
¡Buenas noches Avery y Emily! Hacer bien el rodaje a ese New Holland.... Good night friends 😴😴😴
Thanks!
A great vid!
Thanks!
She doing a good job, everyone has to learn sometime, just have patience with her and she will be a pro soon.
She’s getting more time in the seat!
Just subscribed, love that blue, hope it is better than green. Green seems to be junk.
Thanks for the sub!
Life will be much easier if you go easy on a first-timer
Very true
Does it work better at an angle?
Wouldn’t plug as much at an angle
@@robertmiller9645 Yeah, you're trying to shove all the corn stumps thru at more or less the same spots on the disk when going straight.
I'm kinda thinking them protill need bigger blades, he should have set it more aggressive and not as deep maybe?
We run it at an angle in some fields
Her mistakes lined up wit yours when you were outside. ... there hope yet she's learnin!
Right!
your welcome thanks
Thanks
Suggestion contact Larson farms for the company that tunes there equipment so engine and transmission are synced also best fuel economy. Most efficient unit can run. There's videos on the company tuning the equipment.
Good idea!
Sundrop? That’s the best drink ever!!!!!
Nectar of the gods!
have you tried running a small angle with this tool 8 to 10 degree something just enough not to make it where you can 1 and done ready to plant if that is what you are looking for
We have
She did great You did good girl 👍
Thanks!☺️
Excellent job, Emily! But I think your instructor left some things out of his instructions... Avery, you have to cover all the bases, think about potential problems, and then let her run it. Best case, all is perfect. Worst case, it isn't. I've taught a few people how to do similar things, and I learned that most do the best when you let them do it, not under a watching eye. Great job, Emily, and great video!
Thanks!
Girl did good. Nothing some time and experience won't improve.
nice video, she will come along just fine,
I think so too!
11:25 You’re Welcome! 😂 Most replayed…who woulda guessed? 😇
😂
That man needs beer to do that
😂😂
I'll be here
💪🏼
Good job Emily, id hire you just to get some laughs at the puppy dog look when something goes wrong. Mary Pat Sass, Ag with Emma, Laura farms are all great farmers
Yes they are!
I am still confused on why tubers stand down wind of equipment making dust. Surly one can figure which way the wind is blowing and stand up wind.
One way they go is dust, then they turn around and no dust 😂 also for me sometimes it depends on the lighting
Em will be running the whole farm before you know it 😊
Yes she will!
That is an impressive machine. How much bigger will equipment manufacturers continue to make tilling machines? It's great that the tractor has a buddy seat. Driving a tractor is a skill that takes lots of on the job training. That's definitely a rookie mistake clogging the tilling cutters and the tolling leveling parts. When gathering dead vegetation and soil the machine becomes a blade instead of a cutting and leveling implement.
Yes thanks
I think it wouldn't drag up if you were on a slight angle to the rows.
your welcome 😆👍👌
Thanks again!
Probably the best you're gonna do. Better put a ring on it quick.
Yup
It may well be that it went badly
but she is the beautiful one in that tractor
practice makes perfect
She’ll learn
He's been doing this for many years so you can't expect learn it all in 5 minutes. Doesn't help its a high speed tool so know you need to learn In a faster pace . Avery is very patient.
You’re right
You are learning. You did great. The difference is I learned that when I was about 15. Thats not your fault either. When did Avery learn that? I can guess.
When he was real young!
Nothing ever does go to plan, planted today as well.
Never does!
She is willing to learn that’s all that counts in the big picture
Sure is
Its so funny she thinks she fucked up so bad 😂😂😂
I knew he was watching and judging 😂
She did great.. she does way better than most people. It’s like pulling teeth to get the generation now a days to work
Yes she did
>Plant sweet corn.
Seconded.
Farming sure has come a long way from old time farming, such as using a horse and plow! Even the new machines have limitations.
That’s right!
Have her say right now women can’t do everything 😂
Yes they can
Gotta give her credit she has the will
I love to learn!
Hello!
Hello!
@@NewAgeCustomFarming 👌
Stand on it in the wet hole, lift the plow up ever so often, the will unload the tighns plow, right, and sometimes reverse, will un roll the plugs, thanks BigAl California , see and over come, ,,,stand on it, thanks
Thanks!
Maybe if you were on a bit of an angle with your disc a bit??
We run it like that in other fields
3I don't see a ring on her finger son . When i started dating my future wife she made a comment that we never went out on a day time date . Welp i solved that by telling her to ware OLD jeans and a OLD tee shirt and we would have a day time date . My buddy and i had 25 acres of hay down with rain ah coming . SOOOOO i gave her a crash course on the operation of a Farmall 450 Diesel and a 269 New Holland baler and we had a day time date , She ran the tractor while i stacked the wagon. Next thing i did was teach her how to shoot being she was one of them thar late sixty early seventy's Hippy girls who0 was totally anti gun . Told her you love me you love my tractors and my guns , That was 53 years ago and we are coming up on the big 50 of years together
Why do you care if they are married it's none of your business 😢
Congrats!
10:40 rich farmer, keeping the engine running at idle....🤦🏻
Nah
Ridiculous sunglasses
Gotta protect the eyes
Your fault for putting her in it... In the first place..
She’s plenty capable
Try it at an angle. She will learn, give her time. She is wayy prettier than you. lol
We do run it at an angle in some fields
crap
Crap
x lax works for me when I am plugged up
OOOOOOOOOOOHHH You mean the machine. My bad. PS you can can the music. I give the post a thumbs down for thet alone
When you learn to type actual sentences that make sense I’ll try and use your advice.
Hmmm.. is that normal.. or did that spray create all that plugging.. honestly have no knowledge when it comes to corn but i'd kinda expect that disc to perform way better than that.. if not.. well.. old school often works best.. you bois are plenty capable when it comes to fabbing together a two gang setup on that contraption.. plus side.. garden patch good ta go in two passes Much love and Thanks so much for Sharing
Yes that’s pretty normal, it’s because of the soil
when things are going good on the farm all equipment is green when thing are not quite as good on farm all equipment is red when farm is almost broke all equipment is yellow or blue
That’s false
