  • Tsoknyi Rinpoche discusses the differences between teaching Asian and Western students, and why his teaching of Westerners begins with an emphasis on meditation using the body, opening the heart and attending to emotional well-being. Materialism in Western education can implant stress, fear and a self-critical tendency in children's minds. A person who has a wounded heart needs to begin with teachings that heal woundedness with unconditional love and purifying compassion. He talks with David Rome, Senior Fellow at the Garrison Institute. To find out more about the Garrison Institute:

Do you really have to relax the body first...I think with dzohchen ....you go directly from body to mind to spirit to nondual without an intermediarery
