Gold Prospecting the Kanawha River, West Virginia! Awesome Gold Finds!!!!!

Trying a new spot today...The Kanawha River, right here in West Virginia! Found a nice gravel bar at a low water level, so decided to give it a go! Holy Cow I'm glad I did!!!! What a clean up for such a small amount run!!!

You sure could use one of those new cordless water transfer pumps. Or even a drill powered cheap one from harbor freight. But this is pretty cool seeing gold come out from around here

I have a wooden rocker box it speeds up the work you can pan down a 5 gal bucket in a few hours or you can use rocket box and do several 5 gals into concentrates in very short order

I have seen that method of pouring water onto a sluice box before in low flow water and it works fine. In te video I saw, the was no gold lost in the pan at the end of the sluice.

Well I went and found two black diamonds and 8 grams of gold in a natural spring behind my house I destroyed one black diamond and that’s how I know that’s what it is plus someone told me
