This is why I love PlayStation and Nintendo. RPGs are life
JRPGs especially. WRPGs have their moments but it’s rare. I always preferred the feel of JRPGs, they’re a lot more memorable in every way from art to combat. Western stuff is usually very unoriginal
Especially if they bring back Legend of dragoon,gravity rush and some other jrpgs and buy SE
@@xikaryo6735 just FYI, japanese developers think that JRPG is derogatory term. it's like RPG made by them is lower than RPG made by western developers and they hate it.
but yes, I agree wholeheartedly with your statements. WRPG is often unoriginal, they're too afraid to try something new and would rather stick to old formula of "Action RPG with camera from behind the charatecter"

It's censored (gendered language, women's undergarments and max morgan hulk hogan moustache) and dialogue stalls. At least there's an early sale for those who want to buy and demo for that boring robot lol.

Finally. I remember it being said that Live A Live was coming to Playstation as well as Switch back when it was announced to be getting an English release, but then it didn't happen. Glad to see we were not forgotten! Also, Megalomania is one of the greatest boss tracks ever 😁

Nice one! I already preferred playing the PS5 version of Octopath Traveller 2 over the Switch. 60 FPS and sharper graphics were a real game changer for me. Even though the game was slow and not very demanding in terms of graphics.

@@phase_1471 Yes and a demo is even available (only played about an hour but I really enjoyed it so far)
@Beef-o-Juice True. The biggest game changer is the load times. Not that the Switch load times are awful by any means, but being able to load save files in 2 seconds is pretty convenient.
The visuals are so distinct from other rpgs it’s like a mix of old and new elements
2D-HD is so cool, glad to witness it

This is my favourite Squaresoft/Square Enix game, and my second favourite game of all time. This is an artistic masterpiece. Please pick it up if you're into old JRPGs, it's much better than any Final Fantasy!
