    I teach guitar at my local Veterans Center, music therapy for combat vets, this is my third lesson, great minds think alike.

    Lukas, this is just the kind of thing I find super helpful! Thanks so much. And now I will name the notes as I play them, as getting to know the note positions all over the fretboard is another goal of mine.

    Is drop thumb involved in this ?

      I have a time getting my head around that dang drop thumb. Not the only one I take it...

      My problem is if I'm playing in C, I tune too gCGCC, as I learned from Clifton Hicks, it better matches up when improvising with others, for me atleast
