Joyner is criminally Underrated. His name isn't brought up nearly enough.
100% agree and these podcasters talk about how it's only the "Big 3" and that's all the labels push... yet that's all the talk about. Listen to music yourself and not what is pushed. Joyner can rap and great album.
The biggest reason Joyner Lucas isn't revered as top tier rapper or has stood out is because he hasn't found his own sound. Kendrick, Cole, Drake, Eminem, Kanye, Wayne, Jay, Luda, Nelly, 50, Future etc and etc have their own sound. Joyner to an extend he gives a just a lite version what's already out there. For example, it's hard to argue Kobe ever being considered the GOAT because someone like him did it better before him. Damn near all rapper start off just sounding like the rapper they're influenced by but then find their own sounds. Joyner honestly has not got there yet.

I still remember the day I heard I'm not Racist, the emotions it pulled out of me, and the depth it put me through. That's how I new Joyner was as real as it gets. Dove in and listened to everything he had after that. 🙌

i discovered him from Ross. Since then I have been an immediate fan and got to see him live and mob with him at the Nashville concert when he came into the crowd. He isnt controversial, he is just able to put out things that both sides can relate to. He is helping more than people think from his storytelling.
