One of my favourites is the video for their song Mamma Mia, where the band take the piss out of the idea the lead singer is arrogant and they resent him for it (he's not, really, and they don't - it's just fun) and take their revenge.
They are Italians, but the name of the band is Danish (The bassist's mother was Danish). It means moonlight and the pronounce is "Mohneskin". Almost.😁 They became famous all over the world about three years ago, but they were 16 to 18 years old when they became famous in Italy, in 2017. If you are interested in live performances, you can choose what you want, they always give their best live. For example, "I wanna be your slave" at Glastonbury

They won Eurovision in 2021 and Eurovision famously only has the vocals live, with the instruments being on playback (because otherwise the live Eurvision show would never run to time, since they'd have to set up for countless bands and complex stagings within 2 minutes of each other). Their performance there is still worth a watch. The song's in Italian and if you like the singer, you'll love his live performance there.

You must see their covee of Kendrick Lamars "Humble" , performed at the sold out show at MSG 21/9. In fact people travelled from all over the world to see them in NYC.

Just to give you an idea of how promising they are: they toured with the Rolling Stones in 2021 (and Mick Jagger thinks they're the best young rock band out there right now), they did a collab with Iggy Pop (who loves them) on their song "I wanna be your slave" and Tom Morello plays on their song "Gossip" (and features in the video to the song, too).

If you react to some of their older Italian-language songs you won't regret it: the song they won Eurovision 2021 with, "Zitti e buoni", "Morirò da re", "In nome del padre" and some of their wonderful rock ballads, "Coraline" (check out the live performance from Sanremo), "Vent'anni" and "Torna a casa". My favourite English-language song by them is "For your love", that too, is a proper, PROPER rock song and it makes you wish dearly that there was more of it out there today!

This one is definitely a banger. I have never heard an even remotely "bad" song from them. The other new song, The Driver, is also great. They are playing it on the current tour, and it is set to be released November 10th. You may want to go back into their discography and react to some of their earlier Italian songs like Zitti e Buoni and Moriro da Re to name a couple. One of the other great rock tracks released this year is Banshee by Extreme. It is also a banger and a great video as well.

As a The Warning fan , I just became a Maneskin fan because I picked up on the exact same thing you did. The girls themselves are big Maneskin fans. They were on the same VMA’s as The Warning. I would love to see them together.

Yes. I adore this band and I'm over 60. It reminds me of the kind of rock I loved growing up. The band reminds me of being young and bulletproof. Married to a musician who passed at 26 in the 1980's. I get the difference between this and metal, though I also listen to that. FUN rock. I like that. It's pronounced like "Mono skin." Kind of like an umlaut.
Cool review! Just saw them live for the second time in Nashville. They are amazing in person, and even more Rock than their recordings.
Try ‘For Your Love’ or “I Wanne Be Your Slave”. This is their third album and they have an EP. They are a modern Italian version of a classic Rock/Glam Band. Some great songs in Italian also. In Europe they are selling out stadiums, here arenas in the big cities.

Welcome to Måneskin world! They're truly amazing, and they're still so young (22 to 24yo)! They shine the most in live performances cause their stage presence and charisma is over the roof, so i really suggest live performances of the song after you watch the mv.
PS: they also make italian music since they're italian, from Rome, and the lyrics are really great, so if you come across their italian songs and you're a lyrics type like me, then i really suggest you look up the translations

Oh they are so amazing live. Their whole Lolla Chicago show is on you tube and that was incredible. One of their best live songs is gasoline and the version at Lolla was just amazing. Damiano forgot words at one point but it somehow makes it even better as it adds a bit of drama. There is also a live of kool kids at 02 in london or at Howard stern show. Both amazing. Basically any live performance you see from them will impress.

I will be here for all the Måneskin. I saw someone said it is mohneskin, make sure you pronounce the E in the middle as an A. Moan-eh-skin is usually how I type it for English speakers.

Live they are even better because of all the energy on stage and in the audience. Seen them now 4 times and can’t wait till December to see them in Dublin and Manchester. Тогда очень многие были реально в напряжении и спорах, но, ребята победили и сумели сделать сильный живой звук 🔥 , теперь у них великолепные концерты с абсолютно новыми bangers ❤️🔥‼️

Too concerted using past rock formulas. This is pop drawing on metal, rap, and other themes. People like them because they are all four beautiful and young. They are performers more than musicians.
