- HWJ jam challenge prompt for this weekend was to drop weird noises into a jam out of place.
Built a 'standard' four on the floor drum pattern using recognisable Roland TR sounds on the fantastic TR8s.
Once I had a sequence up and running I went back through it and changed the sounds of everything apart from that 909 kick drum. bit of mucking about with tuning and decay and that's a jam. same pattern, same groove but different sounds.
this is the general idea, might have another couple of goes before submitting the jam to the challenge. you get the idea tho...

Yeah man, keep it simple. I might have another stab at this as you always think you could fit more into 5 minutes.
