I just picked purchased a 2019 Laramie Longhorn this past Saturday. I have owned a few different pickups from various manufacturers over the years and none can come close to the comfort, drive ability and function of this vehicle. The lack of road and engine noise combined with the smoothness of the air ride suspension is actually calming even in bumper to bumper traffic. I didn't think I would ever get over the New Jersey/New York metro crawl to and from work but with this truck I don't mind the brake lights ahead as it gives me time to relax end enjoy the roominess and comfort of this beautiful truck.
I’m really starting to like the American trucks. I live in Australia and do security of a importer of American trucks and they are really nice especially the 1500
You can get a more optioned up bighorn with the center console, 8.4 Uconnect with Nav, 20" wheels, and LED headlights. That said I priced one out like this and the Laramie actaully was slightly cheaper after I added all the options.
Ram has hit a homerun with this truck. I have a new 2018 HD Ram but I am sure in 2-3 years when the new HD's come out with some of this styling and technology I will be looking to trade up. Also, I have a Big Horn but was able to add some of the upfitted options like the premium 8.4 Uconnect, and the bucket seat set-up. I am sure you will be able to upgrade the new Big Horns as well to your liking.
Enjoy Life I’m so excited about the next gen 2500. 2021 is the model year for it. I have a 2018 Power Wagon and although I absolutely love it, I can’t wait to see what they do with that package in the next gen 2500. Have a feeling I’ll be trading too.

I have the fold down console that makes a bench seat in my Power Wagon and I had it in my previous 1500 Outdoorsman. I love it! It’s been very handy to get 6 peeps in the truck very comfortably. I don’t miss a flow through console at all.

The reason I bought the 16' ram big horn 1500 was because of the room in the cab. Chevy is just to small and the ford had plenty of room but was to expensive. But any how. Great job Ram for designing a truck that is a big improvement. I am Happy
Why is there so many hurt people in the comments. Just because you drive a Chevy, Toyota, or Ford doesn't make you any less of a man. It just means you didn't shop around before you bought a new truck. A common mistake! Roll Ram Roll!
I bought a 2019 Ram Big Horn with the sport package in July 2018. It's been a great truck with a 5.7 Hemi. I have one complaint and that is the tires that come with them are shitty Good Year wranglers that with a 5.7 Hemi are junk. i had the thing in traction control in March of 2019 and it was raining, I lost almost total control and the truck was fish tailing all over the road and scared the hell out of me. even when I let off the gas it was hard to control and scared me.. I have since changed them to Continentals and it is great now. No more losing control.
your comment 8:17 about lack of extensive seat adjustments is the first thing i noticed about the 2019 at the dealers lot. but since my plain 2017 is the same it's not a downward rating. i've found the front bench allows more family to be hauled around with more stuff.
justin beamon look into how many problems it has in cold climates if you happen to want to buy a truck with it and live where it gets to freezing temperatures. Not sure if FCA has remedied this situation for 2019.
🤣🤣It doubles as a submarine. Holds water in the headliner constantly. Local dealer says "let my guy silicone your 3rd brake light".. A band aid for my $40k truck...brilliant. Power mirrors strip out regularly...

Mixed impressions on this new Ram. The off-color interior is a little strange (brown and gray)? The grill looks a little silly with the RAM blazoned across it. Still, the interior space and body are nice.
The 2022 ram 1500 Lonestar 3.6 etorque is Not a good truck. the suspension is very stiff and that produces a BUMPY ride. The etorque 3.6 jumps every time I take my foot off the brake pedal. Highway mileage is 21.8 average unless you drive a straight 65 mph and get ran off the road. Not recommended!
don't get the air ride if you live in Canada, It will fail and cost up to 9000 to fix. I had to trade mine after spending 4000 on it just after warranty .
Cool thing RAM did was to give you the option of ordering a SPORT package for every trim level. It’s going to be an extremely popular option. They no longer offer a stand alone Sport model.
Wonder how the semi trucks deal with the cold then? They almost ALL have air suspensions, even on a lot of their trailers. This rumor is old, tired and unfounded.
Here's the problems with this nice truck. Longer wheelbase. It's nearly as long as crew cab long bed trucks of the past. Makes turning with a trailer all that much harder in anything but rural settings. Pulling into traffic means you have to wait for lanes in both directions to clear or risk jumping a curb or going over lawns.
kyle Buchmann there are guys out there that think your 99 Cummins is way to modern and complicated and they will stick with their 88 Magnum engines, and the guys with 1974 Power Wagons laugh at THOSE guys, and so on and so on. So nobody cares and someone in 1999 bought your truck new, think about that.

A fully loaded big horn is all you really need, as long as you don’t mind not having adaptive cruise and lane keep assist, and that 12” screen
Ram has hit a homerun with this truck. I have a new 2018 HD Ram but I am sure in 2-3 years when the new HD's come out with some of this styling and technology I will be looking to trade up. I love my 2019 Bighorn quad cab. Rides like a luxury car, with plenty of power to boot.

I got a 2018 dodge bighorn 4x4 ram with alot of the limit package. I love it . Fist time ever owning a Dodge.

KHLegend the power wagon is far more than just a 6.4L, you don’t buy that truck for the motor, you get a PW for all the off-road capability.

I love that we can get a loaded 2019 BIG HORN with CLOTH seats, so tired of cold / hot / slippery / sticky animal skin seats.

I love my air suspension, just wish I could lower, raise it and leave it. They only stay there until about 25 MPH
there is no problems with the air ride in cold weather.. My 2016 has zero issues all the way down to sub zero temps..

Pretty sure they upgraded the transmission and transfer case, just not a lot of talk about it.

They're talking a couple MPG better than the V6 alone, which isn't going to be available.
