Why do you say so? Do you have a Slavia DSG or other car with DSG ?

@@sid1921986 I have skoda rapid diesel dsg automatic. 2019 model. Believe me, the driving characteristics are very different. You feel less control with that. There are occasional jerks at lower speeds. That too if you are from metro city like me, your cannot sneak through easily in city traffic, as it doesn’t pick easily when you want it. It revs higher. I have driven in city and highways, its worst driving experience. It revs high beyond 3000 rpm in 2 gear in uphill. Nobody tells you in these reviews. You drive and experience in all usecases. Its a loss for me. Torque converter is better , even though it gives lesser mileage than dsg. Im a senior guy and have been driving since 12 years. Slavia will also get sane dsg dq200 gearbox. Petrol might be better than diesel. But still dsg is not worth it. Not sure whom i’m talking to, but if you are a driving enthusiast, you will regret it. DSG IS NOT SUITED TO INDIAN ROADS AND TRAFFIC CONDITIONS

@@atuln.2438 Torque converter is better than dsg for indian roads. Mileage might be lesser than dsg. But you will recover that as it will have better resale and lower car cost. And service cost also we’ll be cheaper. DSG is a shit. All those dual clutch mechanics, which might sound great to hear , but its not suitable

Thanks for the feedback Murali. I will keep this in mind. I was only enamoured by the DSG tag. Will drive both the torque converter and DSG to decide.
