If your design is that different, they have no case whatsoever.
First , it's designed specifically for 1 firearm. That fact alone makes design constraints well beyond your control, unless you physically modify the rifle.
Common sense and prior law says you should be totally fine, but this day, you never know. I hope this works out in your favor buddy!

Ya totally different designs, this is a case of natural progression. Don’t forget our idea aren’t our own, they are floating around in the ether and we pull them down!!!! That’s my opinion only! I love both designs boys keep at it!
Both these guys are doing their thing I respect both products. and I will continue buying from both parties. The fact that they can emphasize on a great product from AEA in this way I'm impressed. keep up the good work looking forward to purchasing that AR kit for the hatsan blitz.

Joergsprave showed this kind of kit with the same shifting mechanism 7 months ago. Your design looks great with the barrel integrated but you might have issues due to the barrels variation in diameter. The other kit has metal linkage and what looks like a 3-d printed fore grip. It only rides on the tank. He also gives a link to the product for USA customers. I really like your design it looks more tactical but I like the idea of a metal connecting rod for longevity. I have been making pumps for fx and avengers for a while but I love the bolt mechanism it is awesome. My bet is your geometry works better! Great job Mac!
Thanks Sam! My kit is similar in theory to that kit you mentioned, but it has a major, critical, proveable difference. The rod that drives the bolt on my kit lines directly up with the cocking channel on the receiver. The dog ear on my kit is only utilized for downward motion, seating the bolt.
On the go gun kit, the rod is directly in line with the bottom of the slot that seats the bolt, and then the bolt rides upwards to the dog ear, and is pushed through the cocking channel by that dog ear.
Effectively: the force for cocking is offset and not linear.
This is where my kit and the go gun kit are directly opposite. My design eliminates, almost all stresses on the dog ear by relocating the rod to be in line with the barrel itself not the tank. Also, I think a critical difference that absolutely cannot be overlooked in my kit is the fact that my kit is currently the only one on the market that allows the retention of the factory bolt handle nub. No other kit is able to do this by design.

Not a steal, yours is different than his and his is different than the ORIGINAL “”gogun” .357 model which i think ALL are drawing inspiration from as it is with any new development. I like that there is variety, keep it up.

Well... as a copyright lawyer... there is no copyright or other property in an idea. That's why we have patent registration laws, which grant new & innovative designs a LIMITED period of protection during which they can monetize a design. If a designer opts not to avail themselves of those protections (and they must prove the design is innovative and original to do so), then there is no issue with using or adapting the design.
I agree with everything, both theory, wise and factual wise in this statement. Additionally, I think that it actually lends to better iterations of the product. When I saw the go gun design, I noticed certain things I would do differently, hence the reason they were changed in my design. There is no sense in copying a flawed system💯

@shadowmihaiu spot on…. My ramping geometry is drawn fully from shapes and voids and extensively tested to not only retain stock bolt nub but also eject the handle into the cocking channel every single time.

Inside of that, because it’s upside down from the go gun, the dog ear has almost no torque on it. Instead, only a totally linear directional force is put on the linkage to cock as opposed to the dog ear cocking on the go gun which is offset and prone to deflection. I think they know this and that’s why it’s rigid steel w an insert, to limit flex.
Seems to me like an obvious case of two people coming up with a similar product independantly. The timeframe between the two is way too short to support a plagiarism claim. Ideas like these need time to develop. They need testing, revisions, finalization and then production.

About cancer. I had a family member who was literally on the death bed over 3 years ago. He was leaking fluid and blood from the groin. It smelled really, really bad. We decided that we had nothing to lose but to try anything other than chemo so we put him on a carb/sugar free diet and one meal per day. He slowly started to regain his health, the tumor closed up (it had protruded and opened). The fluid gone and he was able to walk again. Today, he has a dark and ugly scar where the tumor was. He is able to walk and is no longer weak or sick. He is still on the same diet and mostly will eat one time per day. Once in a while, he eats 2 or 3 times per day but that is very rare.
We had considered apricot seed extract which is supposed to be a miracle cure, but we didn't even get a chance to try that since he got better through fasting and avoiding all carbs/sugars.

I'ma be honest. Gogun came out with a pump action kit with Jorge sprave for the .357 the designs are similar. That's about it. ._. they're mad haters. I bet they're the ones suing .

I think there's 3 kits floating around about to drop. When I can save up for the gun I was going to get yours & your competitors kits, cause ya know crap happens & u need backup. Yours is definitely "slicker", the "competitor" looks tougher.
What's fascinating is three kits dropping same time. It screams that this idea is an obvious one, timing based on how long it took to learn weapon, short comings, think of work around, work out, refined idea. You have all proven each others effort time wise. The big boys when they want to do something patented or copyrighted is extensively document finding asyaff developers who can plausibly state they have no prior knowledge, the entire thought process, modeling, development etc. and that indeed it took them as long to come up w their "independent" solution as the patent holder.

I come from Germany and even here I know of 4 different manufacturers that offer this concept. is not patented and something like that is simply called a free market

MAC, can you give me a link to your kit? because you well know i have this 51 cal max heavily modded and all it really needs is a pump kit , though my long metal bolt handle is quick a pump would free up my current foregrip/bipod for another airgun.

i do not think this kit i had custom made is much like your kit or the go gun kit. my folding stock works normally and had the guy make the barrel hole for the pump 1 mm larger in dia to account for my slightly higher caliber. it uses an carbon fiber arrow shaft with a steel rod inside for the push rod and connects to a flat metal slide plate with a hoop that goes over the bolt handle
(also get to keep my bolt function.
but the pump part at the front is 3d printed
that slide will bend if it is not kept close to the reciever with the clamp, so although i am gonna get your carbon kit, i am still gonna make one of my own pick rails into a clamp to hold that slide .
so i believe this is a different kit, completely.
the guy is small time still but his kit made my brain think in a different direction.
when it breaks i already have upgraded fixes in mind.

The kit that inspired me was the go gun 357 kit. They dont make big bores however, and their linkage is full opposite, in the sense the dog ear drives the bolt, not the downward motion.

The other guys product is no where near as thought out as this one. His products are also grossly overpriced. That’s my opinion, also my opinion is, that going after someone trying to get ahead and supporting his family, is a straight up D-Bag move!!!!
Spend 100s of hours designing something, thousands of .50cal slugs testing it to get it right, thousands of dollars on machines to produce them, hours assembling, all while working a construction job at the same time then tell me what your price would be. I have fam to support also and the corporations are coming after ME TOO. It’s not me filing a lawsuit, I don’t have the capital to do that, and even if I did I wouldn’t. Maybe watch macs vid again so you understand the situation better.
