  • You can add a sense of space that feels like room reverb or ambience by using other effects like resonators or delays. Here are a few options I've found to be useful.
I made a Filter Delay Reverb rack that is available to patreon members: / adding-sense-of-93744326

It feels superfluous commenting on your videos when all I consistently have in terms of response is the puppy-like 'I can do this too!..'-type emotion, but just in case you have doubts about how appreciated your videos are - they are, very much. Your Ableton wizardly seems inexhaustible.

The spectral resonator sounds so good!! Really loving these techniques

I love using spectral resonator for this, I also like using it in granular mode to get an interesting watery texture (or reverb, if using long decay) to use with piano chords

I once found a long metal tube (I don't know what it was for, but given how massive its inner diameter was, I reckon it was for underground conduit laying or something?) and gleefully set up a mic on one end with a small firecracker on the other, then put the sample into convolution reverb as an Impulse Response. I very much wish I could sample different tube sizes and blend between them, but Corpus is a watered-down way to emulate that, it's nice to see it get some attention!

the delaybased reverb would be even better if you could somehow crossfeed the delays into each other and if there was the ability to add allpass filters into the feedback path. that would really complete the traditional-algorithmic-reverb-ness. tbh i was most fascinated by the sound of the spectral resonator. that was just beautiful

Ah! I did not spend enough time with Spectral Resonator, thought its outcome is too artificial, turns out it could be organic too!
