The para interpretation and example communicated to me at least that we as humans are utterly helpless without the Holy Spirit. Dependent upon Him for the most basic matter of prayer, worship, study… etc. She certainly could have used a better example, it was downright horrible, but considering The Scripture being explained, and the seeming exegesis, what problem did you see with it? Mainly asking, as your claim was something like “they resort to theatrics because they can’t handle The Word” super paraphrase.
