My favorite character was definitely snake. I feel so connected to him from having no believes that I'm a decent person to always looking at things on the bad side. I'm glad he didn't turn up too be a bad character and actually had morals too him. A very well developed character that everyone loves

I can see why they choose the tarantula to be a female since most female tarantulas can live very long lives, ranging from 15 to 30 years. Whereas most males only live for about 3 or 5 years and have less than a month to live once reaching maturity.
I mean, they also can't talk or use a computer, so I don't think DreamWorks is too concerned with scientific accuracy.
I went and saw it today and I loved it. It's one of their best in years and hopefully Dreamworks will finally get their groove back.

To be honest, diane foxington from the bad guys is like spamton from deltarune chapter 2 because they both wear glasses and they both make deals and i think i remember the fox girl say now's your chance to redeem yourselves like how spamton says now's your chance to be a big shot. When wolf talked to the fox girl on the stairs it reminded me of the original spamton fight in deltarune and when the fox girl was reavealed to be the crimson paw, it reminded me of spamton neo. Instead of rescuing wolf and the gang, i was expecting the fox girl to fight them instead and have wolf's soul turn yellow and be able to shoot things and wolf and the gang will be in minecarts and the fox girl wants to take wolf's body as a vessel and says he doesn't need his freinds. Wolf and the gang can either beat the fox girl up or break her strings and then they get an item and a shadow crystal and also marmalade is also kinda like queen since they're both selfish. Could someone please do a YTPMV of now's your chance to be a big shot where the fox girl sings now's your chance to be a big shot and also with sounds from the movie as the melody of the music. Since matpat did a ness is sans theory, I could also see him do a diane foxington is spamton theory. So at the end of the day, the fox girl from the bad guys is like a female version of spamton from deltarune.

This might just be my opinion, but I Think that the Bad Guys deals with Stereotyping/Racism/Speciesism better than Zootopia, one major point for the Bad Guys is that the main protagonists are animals that are often seen as bad and evil by a lot of Human Society whereas Zootopia uses ones that are mainly seen as good by Human Society eyes. I also feel that Mr Wolf is like what Nick Wilde would have been like if he skipped town of Zootopia and instead went with the Bad Guys life and Judy Hopps was unable to find and blackmail him as a lead. Also like Nick Wilde, the Bad Guys show that under their Bad Guy facade, being feared and hated by society hurts them and they really just want to be loved and accepted by the world. Also Zootopia only has Mammals so I personally feel that Zootopia should be called Mammaltopia, the Bad Guys in addition to a wolf a fox and Guinea pig at least included a spider, fish, a shark and a snake.

My one issue us that in real life, races that get discriminated against for being "dangerous" aren't inherently more dangerous than other races. Every time they try to make an animal allegory, they make the discriminated group animals that are (in real life) actually dangerous to the discriminators.

I'll agree to most of what you said because it's true, the bad guys is better because it's delivering a message but in away that it's entertaining and not heavy handed, where as with Zootopia it's almost hitting you right in the face mostly after Judy give the press conference.

When I saw the thumbnail, I knew 100% Rupert was the main bad guy.

Had close to no confidence that this was a good movie till I watched it. Wolf has to be one of the favorite animation film characters due to how relatable he is especially during his transformation to being good. His loyalty to his friends and his dope car and driving skills gives a nice fast and furious vibe. Love how Diana and Wolf interact as well (smell the shippers already). Overall, Mr.Wolf is my favorite character of the film with Ms.Tarantula as a close 2nd.
Even if it maybe was not the main theme of the movie, I think this movie framed the concept of peer pressure very well. Wolf might have *known* he wanted to change, and *known* he was doing wrong
But changing would have meant social isolation and possibly saying goodbye the his closest friends in favour of a slim chance at redemption.
It was a very tangible pain. I was there with him when he was on the fence about whether to push that button.

Seems nicely innocent and the elast expected to be the antagonist, but them comes out a total opposite of his facade and acts insanely worse than any other "bad guy" in the movie or series.

As some one who saw these books at my old school's library I was surprised when they are doing a full on movie based on the series,

It is my ultimate new comfort movie, it's just THE BEST MOVIE ever for me!!!! Such an awesome, emotional, fabulous movie and I love how well written the characters and the story is. 🤩🤩🥺💗💗💗
The Bad Guys do have standards. They would never resort to hard crimes like kidnapping and terrorism. The problem with Misty Luggins is that she's more interested in slapping every person marked as a criminal behind bars and taking credit for it and less interested in reformation and genuinely protecting those in need. I wonder what happened in Mr. Snake's past to make him the meanest of the group. I absolutely love how Marmalade being the cuddly guinea pig that he is, uses his species and position as all a big deceiving act. No one would ever suspect Marmalade of being evil unless he made it clear to them.
I knew that marmalade was trouble when I first saw him! A gut feeling!

I'v been waiting my whole life of this!
I just saw this movie yesterday and I was really wanting to see it because I have several of the books and I loved them. The movie was waayyyy different from the book series but the characters were the same they are in the book ( except for the spider being a girl in the movie) but overall it was a fun and funny movie.
I think the snake had a TOTALLY different personality in the book

I really enjoyed watching The Bad Guys at the Cinema in the UK on Saturday 26th March 2022 in an advanced preview screening and on Thursday 7th April 2022, it was amazing, my favourite character in the film is Mr Wolf and it's now my favourite DreamWorks Animation film 10/10

Like cat in the tree. Plus in the end he did make the bad guys good guys to the public so ya know bonus.

Bro this movie was amazing, and the huge twist was unexpected, but still amazing!
To be honest, diane foxington from the bad guys is like spamton from deltarune chapter 2 because they both wear glasses and they both make deals and i think i remember the fox girl say now's your chance to redeem yourselves like how spamton says now's your chance to be a big shot. When wolf talked to the fox girl on the stairs it reminded me of the original spamton fight in deltarune and when the fox girl was revealed to be the crimson paw, it reminded me of spamton neo. Instead of rescuing wolf and the gang, I was expecting the fox girl to fight them instead and have wolf's soul turn yellow and be able to shoot things and wolf and the gang will be in minecarts and the fox girl wants to take wolf's body as a vessal and says he doesn't need his friends. Wolf and the gang can either beat the fox girl up or break her strings and then they get an item and a shadow crystal and also marmalade is also kinda like queen since they're both selfish. Could someone please do a YTPMV of now's your chance to be a big shot where the fox girl sings now's your chance to be a big shot and also with sounds from the movie as the melody of the music. Since matpat did a ness is sans theory, I could also see him do a diane foxington is spamton theory. So at the end of the day, the fox girl from the bad guys is like a female version of spamton from deltarune.
The actual 100% pure good character in the bad guys is THAT PRECIOUS CUTE KITTY!

Ya know what’s possibly the most hilarious part of the movie and the books? What’s most hilarious is how everyone can’t even tell apart a shark from a person lol. I mean it’s legitimately hilarious that these people don’t take a closer look at Shark and try and find some subtle clues to tell if he’s actually the person he’s impersonating. In the books Mr Shark dresses up as animals and is still able to convince people around him he’s an animal. But the fact that they added that small detail into this movie is just beautifully done. Bravo Dreamworks
