Every time I see the part where Diane takes her ring from Wolf and then gives it back to him, I like to think that the reason why she gave the ring back to Wolf is because it was Diane's way of testing him to see if he was truly capable of going good. And then when Wolf willingly gave the ring back to Diane at the gala, It was proof to her that Wolf had reformed.
Favorite character in the movie and easily one of the best furry/Dreamworks characters we’ve gotten in the last few years. Zazzie was amazing as the voice, and I hope we see her again sometime soon.
@@kobayashi1194not the best DreamWorks character, per say, but definitely one of the better anthropomorphic animal characters in cartoon media though.
@@jckccI have less issue with her voice, there are good characters for raspy female voices. My problem is that she is always playing herself. That's not really acting, that's typecasting.
I'm really needing to know the Lore behind why there's anthropomorphic animals sharing the world with Humans, and why these Anthros are so rare in number compared. Perhaps genetic experiments given Civil Rights?
It's a modern fairy tale world. Like talking animals were present in classic fairy tales (puss in boots, little red riding hood, Pinocchio...) but not prevalent.
I wonder how both Wolf and Diane are able to hide their tales when wearing different outfits? Like for Wolf when he's in disguise at the beginning of the film, Diane when she's wearing the blue dress and the crimson paw outfit. Do they tuck it in somehow or is it like Cartoon Logic?
If they tucked there tails in I feel like that would be painful Diane in the crimson paw outfit looked tight to her fur even I would feel uncomfortable
While a part of me does like this version of the fox character more than the one n the books, I do wish that they'd make her more like her book counterpart in a potential sequel, like maybe bring on board the international league of heroes and have her join them.
I wouldn't mind them bringing in the other League of Heroes characters, though at the same time I wanna see Diane interact more with the other Bad Guys as well. I like the idea of her being adopted into the main team in the meantime. And yeah like @kobyromigh1194 said, it might be better Diane doesn't adapt Agent Fox TOO closely, especially since we know Dreamworks isn't against taking that approach with key characters in their sequels...
One detail I like with Diane is that, while they do the "All the main group's abilities combined" deal with her, they give each one some nuance that makes it different from their's, preventing her being a Mary Sue who makes them all look incompetent and being more this ideal teammate. * Wolf's team planning. Is a far more concise and savvy planner than Wolf, though lacks his on-the-fly resourcefulness due to not being used to anything going wrong. Best seen in the lair scene where they both piece together what Marmalade is doing. Also a pro driver but better demonstrated with a stunt bike compared to Wolf's car (Dreamworks All Star Kart excepted :P). * Matches Snake's nimbleness, though their intellect is the bigger contrast. Snake has the most issues with being good, though as such manages to be the best manipulator of the cast in the end. Diane, like Wolf, is too earnest and cocky so spends a lot of the film getting outsmarted, though sabotages Wolf and Marmalade's plans per se by being the most emotionally intelligent character. * Is tech savvy like Webs. Diane has an insanely high tech artillery of gadgets compared to the Bad Guys, though still doesn't anticipate Webs hacking through WPSST or rerouting the guinea pig trucks. Basically Diane could BUILD the best super computer, while Webs could PROGRAM the best one. * Working incognito like Shark. Diane uses one disguise to stay in the shadows and has never been caught out besides by Marmalade due to being cocky with a stolen jewel. Shark meanwhile uses more obvious cartoony disguises but is good at ingratiating and blending in acting and talent wise. He doesn't look much like a constructor or lawyer but he can play the role of one well enough. * Piranha's combat abilities. Diane's are more realistic and action film-esque choreography while Piranha is Mr Toon Physics, best demonstrated with both their efforts during the truck chase sequence.
Yep, When I listened to her, it looked like I heard the voice of Listening Books; but this is better than Spanish. However, the best Diane's dub is in Japan.

@@manuelk1853 True though admitedly she only fights once (against bumbling cops) and she does get kidnapped pretty easily. Her strength I'd say is similar to Pirahna right now, so long as she doesn't handily bust the threat of every possible sequel.
@@e-122psi3 Yeah but she only gets kidnapped because of Mr.Wolfs fault and this is my problem. Sure, it makes a somewhat funny scene, but it would've been more effective and cool if Marmelade actually came up with a great trap that even she couldn't see coming. That would made him a smarter and bigger threat and her actually getting outsmarted by someone else.
@@manuelk1853 Yeah, I feel like Marmalade should have fooled them BOTH. They do SORTA do this by having the reveal of the diamond Diane left on her afterwards, but yeah, it makes Marmalade feel less effective, and I feel it would have culminated both their arcs better, since the two of them still had a hubris over being 'the best bad guy' only to be topped by an even nastier (and more arrogant) bad guy. That there's always someone better, and then there's always someone better than THEM.
