  • Fire almost ended this engineer's life, but he still had a purpose to pursue, he was chasing a higher purpose than most would have expected of this poor, scared Aedirnian lieutenant engineer.

If nothing else, his loyalty is admirable.

I was do invested in his story when I found him in the rubble. so I was shocked when he betrayed me just goes to show how good the writing is

The perfect cover, didn't see any of it coming.

Most spies would definitely have broken their cover or tried to return home after the injury he sustained, but he kept going, which shows the dedication of nilfgaardian spies

Here's a fun little detail. While i am very late. You can acutally notice Xavier is a bit suspcious right from the start if you pay attention.
Namley. Xavier's story doens't add up. He claims he was heating oil when a catapult struck and from there he doens't know what happend. But then when told the fortress fell, he claims the scoi'atel are to blame as they planted charges and were responsible.
His story's outright contradict eachother as how could he know non-humans had any role in the fall of the fortress.
If he was knocked out when the explosion happend? It's very subtle but beacuse he's lying he can't keep his story straight. Which is a fun little detail/hint you won't pick up on till your second playthrough.
