P.S. Sam which lenses are you using on your Sony? I'm very curious especially for which ones you use over 50mm. Have you considered a lens like the 70-200 for long trackside shots?
I use 2 lenses - 14mm and 50mm thats all I need :)
i recommend a nice 24mm prime lens as well
17-24, 24-70, and 70-200 is the holy trinity. The only add on is the 35 1.4 which I can't get over how good it looks for stills.

How can a video, showing a 24 hour lavetka ride and 3 guys stuck in an elevator, be so much fun to watch?
i'd recommend grabbin a cinema style lens with a smooth, no-click aperture ring on the lens. You change aperture quite often so I think it would be worth it to not have the clicking each time.
