Will be very fine to show for the users Webinar about Rancher 2.0 on Kubernetes in case of building custom Catalog, strategy for deploying microservices, HA and fault tolerant databases(PostgreSQL 9.6+), especialy how to connect HA and fault tolerant storage volumes to the Rancher platform without any Cloud services, just using Kubernetes capabilities for iSCSI target, NFS v4, GlusterFS etc.
Regarding the pipeline not getting triggered automatically at 42:40, there are 2 possible culprits: 1. you're trying to push the same tag (this will not work, you need to push a new tag for the trigger to work). 2. You don't have the igor spinnaker microservice installed. See thread here: github.com/spinnaker/spinnaker/issues/2037#issuecomment-392572991
Please help me with understanding as I was confused. Are the spinnaker and kubernetes launched local workstation or on the cloud? Does spinnaker support other repositories like gitlab and bitbucket? Other registries like azure or aws?
It seems that with helm you can install spinnaker version 1.1.0, but the latest one is 1.4.2. For me it was easier to install hal on Ubuntu 14.04 and then using Spinnaker's documentation install it on kubernetes. Spent about 2 hours to get everything up and running.
