Sharing My Personal Heptagram Ritual: Chaos Magick meets Planetary Magick

For those interested in why i chose to place specific planets at specific points, I drew inspiration from the Kabbalistic Tree of Life as well as Hellenistic Astrology. The sun at the top is similar to the idea of Kether on the Tree of Life. The Moon and Mercury at the bottom (the heart/emotions/subconscious realm being the moon and the mind/intellect/conscious mind being Mercury) represent the idea of Malkuth and themes closer to the bottom (or second half) of the Tree of Life. It represents everything it means to be human. The macrocosm is the sun, the microcosm is mercury and the moon. Venus and Mars share a line as the cosmic lovers. Venus and Jupiter share a line as the planetary benefics. Mars and Saturn share a line as the planetary malefics. There is also care taken to what is placed in the east versus what is placed in the west. I hope that better explains it! 😊 I would have said this in the video but I didn't think anyone would care. And then I got a ton of comments asking, so there ya go!

Another question popped into my mind yesterday about this - Does one need to banish as well after invoking a certain planetary energy , after finishing whatever work one does with their help ?
hey ivy, i just want you to know im extremely happy to have seen this video because i derived the exact same heptagram using kabbalistic tree of life! and "switched" planets so that they align with "masculine" to the right and "feminine" to the left (the same exact heptagram as yours!). im also prticularly happy how mercury's symbol looks like the horned god symbol (which is believe their energies have been linked) and of course the moon with the energy of the lunar deities. the "levels" make perfect sense as well. lunar + mercurial both "feel" more personal and inward, venusian + martian both feel more outward and "interpersonal"; and saturnian + jovian feel more "cosmic" i.e. jupiters expansion (space) versus saturns limitation (time and attractive forces).
it's a UPG of mine to "switch" the positions of the sun and mercury (mercury at the top!) when im working with the horned god, which still largely centers around the masculine-feminine balancing and the different "levels" i mentioned (the sun being assoc with the self in astrology).

Sunburn, heatwaves and wildfires would be great reasons for banishing sun energy. Love this ritual by the way 🥰

Additionally if you struggle with over confidence, having too much pride / big ego, having too much energy, or anything similar, I could see banishing the sun energy would calm those highs down.

I remember when I first found your channel that I was taking an interest in planetary magick and symbolism - I think this magick you're showing us could go well in working with Olympian spirits such as Bethor (who's planetary domain is Jupiter) I've always liked anything to do with planets, space & time because there's a limitless mystery to it. I always believed the first scientists were of course the Magi (occult practitioners) who were heavily into the arcane and used it as a tool for discovery...this is taking us all the way back to the roots of occult study! I love how you broke down the use of the Heptagram in great detail, this is excellent! 🤘🍎🐍

oooo ngl I've struggled with the heptagram rituals from more traditional planetary magic bc I'm just not that ceremonial and I'm not comfortable using all the Christian and Jewish stuff in there, but I like this! I might have to adopt something like this for my own practices. idk why it hadn't occurred to me that I could just trace them out like this like all the pentagram ones but that's a great idea! the planetary positions made sense to me too. thanks for sharing!

I think this is very interesting. I actually use the heptogram with the seven sins/ virtues. Each sin and virtue(to me) has a its own energy that I use as a form of balancing. A kind of middle path for someone who uses Christian/ catholic magic. I never realised that the heptogram has so many other uses. thank you for this video it's incredibly insightful :)

So, the best way to think about the arrows (invoking or banishing directions) is; the arrows directed towards the planetary symbols are always the banishing direction, correct?

As long as you are wearing a seat belt and being aware of your surroundings, there is a very low statistical chance that you will get into a car accident. Chaos Magick is no more dangerous than any other occult practice ☺️
