Here is my verdict on the accident in what has been a crazy Singapore gp. Vettel got a bad start when compared to max and max had a medicore start when compares to kimi. Sebastian seeing that max is closing on him does his trademark, micheal Schumacher esque, pit wall squeeze. At this point kimi, as he had the best start of everybody, is pretty much alongside max and is up against the edge of the track. He can only see max and is oblivious to vettle squeezing the pair of them. Max is in the middle of the track so he can see both Sebastian and kimi and knows he is about to get pincered so he tries to back off (check the telemetry) but as the rear tyres are bigger than the fronts max was screwed, the rest is history. IMO it is vettel's fault he took a big risk squeezing max and he hoped nobody was on max's inside but kimi was there. It is cause and effect if vettel did not squeeze no accident would have happened. Also, rip Alonso he could have been in second. Hamilton had a beast of a start in second gear. Now, if there aren't any more mechanical failures Lewis has won this championship. The 28 point lead covers the 14 points lewis could lose at the tracks mercedes are not strong at ie Mexico, Abu dhabi
Daniel O Would you even try to expect the guy from 4th place be right next to you? I wouldn't. That's why he instantly decided to squeeze Verstappen. But the rest was good analysis.
blood yeah but at least expect Ricciardo. Vettel tried to do what lewis did in monza to stroll but because ge was too slow off the line the couldn't do it
what does blocking/squeezing after race start have to do with schumacher? every polesitter does/has done this in every race ever if he has/had a bad start.
Vettel was desperate for the lead, also he has an interesting "Relationship" with Verstappen given how they battled in Silverstone so he wasn't going to give up the lead especially to him, he took a gamble he lost, if he gets blamed it will be fair, if he doesn't it won't be surprising though.
I cant believe Ferrari is blaming Max Verstappen for this crash. My take is that Vettel realized that Verstappen had a better start than him so only logical thing for him to do was to shift over into Verstappen's lane and in the process forced Verstappen into Kimi's lane.
@@xBatboys4 if vettel wasnt this aggressive there would have not been an accident? Surely the tactic "we will squeeze verstappen and then have a double lead" is the way to go But karma ruled it with the championsship
@@xxmisterxx6957 Knowing Verstappen's driving style there probably would've been an accident even if Vettel was not there. But anyway i agree on that Vettel was dumb for squeezing on the first lap when he was in a championship lead. But he had the right to do it. He gave everyone still enough space. Even though it was the minimum. Verstappen just drove to the left and hitted Raikkonen so it is Verstappen's fault.
starting your Argument with "Knowing Verstappen's driving style" just shows how subjectiv your point of view is. Don't assume anything just 3 guys driving, and you will notice something. If you still think the same, we have different opinions and it's fine. I just think you are either a Vettel fan or you don't like Verstappen and your opinion is based on that
@@xxmisterxx6957 Yes i dislike Verstappen ALOT. But that has nothing to do with it. I just think its his fault. Last year when it happened i thought it was Vettels fault, but now that i see it again like 10 times. I think its Verstappen's fault. Vettel had the right to squeeze.
Just like I said before Alonso and Raikkonen are the most unluckiest driver's in F1 history Edit: Lol stop saying Vestappen he is the most unluckiest driver this season not in F1 history
Seb was way too aggressive. He’s not fighting the red bull for the championship you don’t do that. Kimi just had the best start out of them all. Kimi was about to take the lead of the race. It looked so promising for him when the lights went out. Seb needs to keep his head down now.
Total bogus. A race is a race. No matter if it's a Sauber or a Mercedes, you want to win, not only for championship but also for the team as a whole or for the moment and glory itself. That's what F1 is about.
Mate Vettel only defended his line, just as Hamilton did on Stroll in Monza, if you look ath the shot that is above the cars you can clearly see Kimi made contact with Verstappen BEFORE they made contact with Vettel, it pains me to say it but it was Kimi's fault for hitting Verstappen
Daniel Sammut which parallel universal you are from? Kimi drove in a straight line, past Verstappen who moved to the right... Kimi was AHEAD of Verstappen who drove back into Kimi. In what way was it Kimi's fault?
Rewatching this and I am actually impressed by Vettel managing to steer that damaged car backwards around a turn, it's a shame that he couldn't drive in a straight line going forwards.
Max had to avoid Vettel, and the pit wall squeeze. If Vettel wasn't so aggressive trying to cut off Max, them non of it would happen. As it can clearly be seen. Seb will be hit with a severe penalty
Jack Esməralđa Actually Vettel turned to Verstappen who had nowhere to go anymore, so it was clearly Vettels fault even though he didn't know Kimi was there, this was very unfortunate, because Kimi really would have had a chance to win.
I don't think so. Yes maybe he can protect his second or third place when the track is wet but when it is dry he will eventually get swallowed by the Ferraris and Red Bulls
🏁🏎️💨🏆🇸🇬 🥇 Lewis Hamilton 🇬🇧 🥈 Daniel Ricciardo 🇦🇺 🥉 Valtteri Bottas 🇫🇮 Rainfall made the racetrack tricky under wet conditions Kimi Räikkönen, Verstappen and Vettel out of the race was a shocker Singapore racetrack is one of best *_Formula 1_* circuits

Daniel O Would you even try to expect the guy from 4th place be right next to you? I wouldn't. That's why he instantly decided to squeeze Verstappen. But the rest was good analysis.
blood yeah but at least expect Ricciardo. Vettel tried to do what lewis did in monza to stroll but because ge was too slow off the line the couldn't do it
It's nobody's fault..it was just a racing incident that unfortunately has seriously dented Vettel's championship hopes.
what does blocking/squeezing after race start have to do with schumacher?
every polesitter does/has done this in every race ever if he has/had a bad start.
Vettel was desperate for the lead, also he has an interesting "Relationship" with Verstappen given how they battled in Silverstone so he wasn't going to give up the lead especially to him, he took a gamble he lost, if he gets blamed it will be fair, if he doesn't it won't be surprising though.
*3:38**, PALMER IN 2ND OMG!!*
This is the first f1 race that I ever attended . One of the best days of my life ever.
I cant believe Ferrari is blaming Max Verstappen for this crash. My take is that Vettel realized that Verstappen had a better start than him so only logical thing for him to do was to shift over into Verstappen's lane and in the process forced Verstappen into Kimi's lane.
It was Verstappen's fault he hitted Raikkonen. If he backed off there would've been no accident.
@@xBatboys4 if vettel wasnt this aggressive there would have not been an accident? Surely the tactic "we will squeeze verstappen and then have a double lead" is the way to go
But karma ruled it with the championsship
Vettels crash was a safety precaution to avoid falling prey to the torpedo
Vettel went into torpedo mode himself this time.
Best thing I've seen all day 😂
rude
The torpedo already launched itself in a target later on
Vettel never hit anyone, he only got hit. I think we have a new torpedo named Crashtappen. He will be as glorious as Crashtor Maldonado.
I'm still watching this now to keep me excited during lockdown. And still shocked
Love rewatching this
Just like I said before Alonso and Raikkonen are the most unluckiest driver's in F1 history
Edit: Lol stop saying Vestappen he is the most unluckiest driver this season not in F1 history
Verstappen?
Last year he was lucky as hell, let's see in years to come
Hulkenberg??
Katen Burton Iceman?
And Vettel probably the most dangerous driver ...
Seb was way too aggressive. He’s not fighting the red bull for the championship you don’t do that. Kimi just had the best start out of them all. Kimi was about to take the lead of the race. It looked so promising for him when the lights went out. Seb needs to keep his head down now.
Avais Hussain 100% agree, and also too much adrenaline, he had to calm down before the start
Vettel Closed the door to Verstappen pushing he out of the line. I'm not a Verstappen's fan but today it wasn't his fault.
Daniel Sammut which parallel universal you are from? Kimi drove in a straight line, past Verstappen who moved to the right... Kimi was AHEAD of Verstappen who drove back into Kimi. In what way was it Kimi's fault?
I love re watching this every few weeks! Thanks again Seb!
Still brings tears to my eyes
Crofty saying there was nothing Vettel could do to avoid that when Vettel was the one who caused it 😂😂
3:36 Jolyon Palmer in 2nd place? LEGIT?!?
He is a beast
he was in the lead for a lap after lewis pitted if I remember correctly

Vettel verstappen and kimis race*
Rewatching this and I am actually impressed by Vettel managing to steer that damaged car backwards around a turn, it's a shame that he couldn't drive in a straight line going forwards.
Oh he could drive in a straight line, he just likes to squeeze people at the start of races. Did it again to Kimi in China 2018.
I love the announcers for this clip! Its lights out. Carnage
The Ferraris really don't want to win the championship..
Max had to avoid Vettel, and the pit wall squeeze. If Vettel wasn't so aggressive trying to cut off Max, them non of it would happen. As it can clearly be seen. Seb will be hit with a severe penalty
Jack Esməralđa Actually Vettel turned to Verstappen who had nowhere to go anymore, so it was clearly Vettels fault even though he didn't know Kimi was there, this was very unfortunate, because Kimi really would have had a chance to win.
yeah vettel said that he didnt know Kimi was there. lol
Amazing race. Thank you, Vettel, for the theatrics!
We don’t get crashes at the start like this no more.
2 years later this race has left me scarred
Alonso would have podium.
Don't think so, maybe P4. But I don't think he would have been faster than Bottas
Yep, he would have been on P2 after restart but Ricciardo and Bottas surely had the pace to get passed him.
I don't think so. Yes maybe he can protect his second or third place when the track is wet but when it is dry he will eventually get swallowed by the Ferraris and Red Bulls
Nah, the engine would have blown
Vandoorne proved that the engine was running fine last night.
my favorite drivers: Vettel, Raikkönen and Verstappen. This is clearly my favorite race of this season....... :( :D
Oh piss off with your spam. We don't care about your reaction.
Mine are Seb, Kimi and Nando. Yeah favourite race as well ;)

Way to go Stoffel Vandoorne! Great drive again, hope he can score more points in the rest of the season. He and Stroll seem to continue improving.
This aged terribly.
Chaos ensues as the Singapore grand prix is hosted in the rain for the first time
Reaching to P1 is quite simple but staying at P1 and keeping the lead throughout race is most difficult.

Why do you think anyone cares about your poorly recorded reaction? You think you reacting is something interesting to watch? Opened it, disliked it. I tried disliking again when I realized you barely speak any english but I realized I had already disliked it.
You dislike a video because it's not in english? Perhaps, people dislike you for not speaking the language of their choosing...
What a start from alonso...simply the best
