Such a gorgeous feminine journal!! It's so fun sometimes to create a junk journal without having to worry about everything coordinating and having a specific place. Very therapeutic to me to find a home for those precious pieces of scraps. Yours is wonderful!

Jeanette if you stamp on a paper that you are not using first you get of the excess you dont want and then you get a soft stamp on your page. it is called ghost stamping. :) Your journal is beautiful. I so understand the not liking crocedness. I am working on that to. Tfs love. :)

I have watched a pocket full of vintage that does junk journal where she goes through step by step but she sews here signatures in but I would like to try this method I expect I will make a few mistakes but I guess this is how we learn I think you did ok for your first junk journal keep up the good work Vivienne from Tasmania

Really great junk journal. Really great FIRST junk journal. When I put something in a journal and it's not as straight as I would like, I frame it with something else so it looks straight. In this case, darker lace might help. tfs
Oh im so excited to try taking paper, lace and bits like your book and making my own.
Actually im considering turning it into a wedding journal for my great niece. I think the lace will say wedding nicely....will see if it works.

Looks great. It's not 100% scrapbook paper, so I think it's junky enough. You did a lot in your first journal, sewing is a big deal. TFS

Wow! This is so beautiful! All of your 'mistakes' turned out to be beautiful fixes. Can you tell me where you learned to bind this.....that's my next step.
Kathleen Hahn Hi Kathleen and thank you :) I just sewed it all together on my machine down the center, probably from the same lady who showed the envelope as she mentioned sewing it together. I did use a large stitch on my machine though because it's paper. Have a great day :)

Ok, so did you fold the cardstock or are they seperate pieces for the front and back? Sorry for all the questions I'm just trying to work out how to make one like this
No matter what kind of art you do, the result is always, always beautiful. I loved your journal! Thank you for sharing. About the stamping, have you tried using chalk ink? The ink sits on top of the paper and doesn't sip through. :-)
